The post about introducing your kids to culture got me thinking about how pathetic it is that I have never traveled outside the continental US! Between paying for college, then a wedding, then a house and babies, plus putting money towards retirement someday, the money has just never been there. But someday this is something I would like to make a priority - I'm really not sure if it will be with our kids or when we're older.

What places do you really want to travel to someday? Or what places have you already visited that you love? Here's our list!

- Hawaii (this will be the first one knocked off the list, probably as an anniversary trip for 5 years)
- Paris
- The UK (my Beatles-obsessed DH will want to see lots of sites related to their early years)
- Tokyo
- Kenya (my family sponsors a young boy there and the organization does mission trips that include getting to meet your sponsored child)

Oh, and I'm a huge Disney nerd, so I also have a goal of seeing all of the Disney parks in the world. They're located in Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, and one is expected to open in Shanghai next year. DH thinks I'm nuts...the idea of going to a country where we don't speak the language kind of freaks him out (which would be the the UK is his addition to this list, haha.) I guess I'm the more adventurous of the two of us.
