In the past we have used Turbo Tax and I have all our electronic versions so its really just updating year to year. But its expensive now! Any other free options that aren't a pain to enter all the data fresh into?

I used to use H&R Block before we got a tax accountant, but they require you to enter all the info though. I liked it was free and easy to use.
Some of my friends used Tax Slayer, but no personal experience.

I use turbo tax because I like all the additions you can make to it and they roll over your information and also I use turbo tax for my consulting business so it's no brainer.

I couldn't find any free ones unless you have a super simple tax return with no kids, no home, etc. I got $10 off Turbo Tax through Costco so it was $29.95 which isn't too bad.

I use TaxAct. It's free and really easy to use. You can pay extra to have them save/store/import (I forget which) your data, but it's only like $20.

I used Turbo Tax for years until we switched to an accountant because our taxes got too complicated. If you google for coupons you can usually get the federal e-file for $30-40. The price also goes up as you approach the deadline.
