I ask how she did (which usually tells me if she had a rough day or not), what songs they sang and what book they read. If I have time, I try to remember to ask who she played well with.

We are at an in home, I ask how she did & if she was nice to her friends (we have a bully sometimes), if she napped/ate good, and whether she went #2 (she's been a little backed up lately.)

I always ask about what she ate and her nap (although her entire day--including her activities) is tracked on her daily report card. Then I just ask about how her day went, and usually get a few stories about funny things that happened during the day.

Usually what she ate and when she napped. We get a daily report that outlines things, but they aren't detailed (and often don't tell the whole story), so I like to get that information. She's taken to not wanting to eat at daycare lately, so I like to know if she's eaten much so I know what to do for dinner

Just how her day went because they put a lot of stats info on her daily sheet.

DH picks her up from nursery and I grill him when he gets in! Did she have a nice day? What did she do? Did she eat all her dinner? Did they say what she had? Did she nap? He stutters and splutters through some of the questions, trying to remember if they mentioned certain details! I'm picking her up tomorrow and I can't wait to ask loads of questions!!

Not daycare but nanny! I ask her if they slept, if they were good and if they went outside with the dog and if so at what time (me selfishly not wanting to walk to dog LOL).

How C did (did he finish his bottles and solids, did he go #2, and what his temperment was).

I ask if he slept at all... Why does my 22 month old think he doesn't need to nap anymore?

I don't really ask a lot when I pick him up. We get a sheet with all of his stats so that tells me all I need to know. Plus, at the end of the day, they usually combine classrooms so he's not always with the teacher he was with during the day.
