We are debating buying a condo. We'd only live there a few years, but rent here is so crazy that its the only way we can afford something bigger.
We are only looking at developments where the condos sell rapidly.

If we buy, we are thinking about doing some minor renovations like painting cabinets, ripping up carpet to install wood floors...that kind of thing.

Have you tackled any of these kind of things yourself, ala young house love? A lot of it would be up to me, because husband works nutty hours.
