I think both girls will need a new pair of shoes for this summer, but we will have to see in a few months how last years fit! I want something that is easy to put on but not a tennis shoe. But also something they can run and climb in that won't fall off.
Any ideas?

Sneakers and closed toe sandals (ON Jellies) for day care. Then Salt water sandals and flip flops on the weekend. I got some SKR water shoes on clearance.

Natives! It's basically the only thing my DD1 wears all summer. I'll be getting DD2 a pair too.

I usually get D a pair of closed toe sandals from Pediped, and this year I got him a pair of ON's version of Natives.
I'm still trying to decide what to get A. I have one pair of moccasins, and keep debating about another mocc or the ON jellies. She's only a month, now, so she doesn't need "real" shoes.

DS1- tennis shoes (he's 10)
DD- Saltwater sandals and Natives (or the Old Navy copycats)
DS2- I don't know yet. He's not walking yet, but should be by summer. He'll be barefoot as much as possible.

Crocs, a cheap pair of water shoes (probably from old navy) and probably one pair of "athletic" sandals. The last category is the toughest for us. We have tried Keens and Stride Rite and haven't found any we've loved yet.

I'm going to take her to the mall this weekend to pick out a pair of daycare shoes. They aren't allowed to wear open toe shoes or crocs. She will wear sandals, Crocs and her Pios on weekends.

DD1: ON jellies, Keens, NB trainers, and probably some rain boots if I can find a pair I like.
DD2: ON jellies, Nike trainers, Keens, and Clarks mary janes
DD3: will be barefoot.

I was able to get a pair of Natives (new) for under $10 so I jumped in! So excited! I think DD will live in those all summer!

She currently has: Teva-like sandals from Target, Mary Janes, polka dot Keds knockoffs, and boots. I want to get some kind of water shoe/hiking sandal that can get wet for school. We had a pair we loved last year but they don't make them in the bigger toddler sizes.
