Today we are having some pictures of our 4 month old son taken - photographer coming to our house (shower gift!) He will be taking some naked baby pics and some in a special outfit (Janie & Jack) that is white. Should I wear white or dark (like navy or black) on top?

I would go with navy. It's a good color to go with white. I hope you have fun!!

I wore white for LOs newborn pictures and I like how they came out. DH wore a white button down shirt and jeans. I'm sure you will look great in whatever you wear though! Have a great time!!

How do you feel about how you are looking right now? I'd probably care more than I look slim than the color, so I'd be inclined to go with dark. But I'm self conscious about my middle now and we are only TTC so that is clouding my view

I'd do some in each. My photographer friend always says to wear something light. Sometimes it's more difficult to meter the light when one person is wearing something dark.

I would normally say a dark color top, but I love seeing family pictures where the parents are both wearing white. It makes the pictures look so soft and pretty.
