So far, she has only seen Bubble Guppies, about 3 minutes of Daniel Tiger and last night she got her first episode of Sesame Street.
What shoes does your lo watch?

@petunia354: DS was obsessed with Mickey Mouse for like 3 years. I have a feeling I'm going to have to live through that again, lol.

Curious George, Backyardigans, Rollie Pollie Ollie.
It's not a show, but I've played for her a Baby Einstein farm video on YouTube.
She also loves the movie Tangled.

I'm a bad mom that keeps the TV on pretty much all day because I like the background noise. LO doesn't pay attention for the most part, but he really loves the theme songs for Spongebob and Paw Patrol and the "It's Time for Lunch" song from Bubble Guppies.
Sometimes, if he wakes up extra early or isn't feeling well we will lay in bed and watch a whole episode of Paw Patrol or Spongebob.

I keep the TV on a lot but he has no interest except for Super Why and Frozen.
He's also watched Daniel Tiger and a few episodes of Sesame Street, and a few minutes of Bubble Guppies, in which he has zero interest.

I let her watch an episode of Bubble Guppies a couple of weeks ago when she was sick. She was totally mesmerized by it! But that's it...we rarely have the tv on when she's awake.

Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger and Winnie the Pooh are the only shows she's watched and liked.
eggplant / 11824 posts
Her favorite shows/movies are:
Sesame Street
Winnie the Pooh (60's movie, not the new ones)
Jungle Book
The Three Stooges
She likes but doesn't love Daniel Tiger, which is gone with me since I don't really like it.

@winniebee: c does the same thing for elmo! So we fast forward to the end. It doesn't buy me nearly enough of a break anymore!
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@Tidybee: I've sort of given up and just put on Elmo's world on YouTube instead or clips of elmo on YouTube!
eggplant / 11824 posts
@Tidybee: @winniebee: there's a good compilation DVD of Elmo the Musicals. It runs continually so you don't have to select each musical to play - about half hour long in total. It's a lifesaver if you need a break and have a little Elmo-lover!
nectarine / 2878 posts
I let him watch Daniel Tiger but he really doesn't have much interest in TV at all. He likes to watch a few seconds of basketball too.
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
@yoursilverlining: you just reminded that I got my son 2 DVDs for Christmas - Elmo's abcs and elmo loves you. I think it's about time to bust those out!
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (her favorite), Elmo's World (she only wants Elmo could careless abotu the rest of the cast on SS), Doc McStuffins, and Sofia the First.
She's only sits down to watch MMC & Elmo otherwise the rest she just dances to the music when she's playing, never watches.

DD watches Bubble Guppies and Teletubbies.
She really likes Bubble Guppies but is completely mesmerized by Teletubbies.
We let her watch BG on an endless loop when we drove from Canada to Florida. And I swear to god she learned things. I don't feel badly about screen time anymore.

So far she's only watched the Leapfrog DVDs. I want to find some other programs for her to watch that are educational, have fun music, and also have lessons about sharing, being a good friend, etc. I'll have to do a search on HB but I'm also following this thread
ETA: I tried showing her an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba and she was not interested. She's almost 2.5 years old
pomegranate / 3729 posts
@sandy: bubble guppies has music, education, and usually a moral type aspect. Sofia the First is heavy on the life lessons.

She looooooves super why. She learned the alphabet when she was around 22 months and now she's always asking for super why so she can identify all the super letters (she is 2 now). It's so cute to see her so excited about reading all the letters!

English Premier League Soccer. I'm not a huge fan of her having screentime at 13 months old, but mummy needs a sleep in on Saturdays and daddy's soccer is non-negotiable. So Saturday morning soccer games it is.

Like, intentionally watched? College football and NHL She loves watching sports! We had some lazy days in front of the football during the season.
Other than that, we don't really turn on shows for her, and when we did try a Daniel Tiger episode, she had no interest!
