I sleep with the monitor on my side of the bed. My sister has it on her side of the bed. Most of my mommy friends sleep with it on their side of the bed. It got me thinking....
Are there any dads/SO out there that sleep with the monitor on their side of the bed? Did you decide or did it just happen?
I like it on my side, so I can peek in on him if I wake up in the middle of the night. It just sort of happened this way when I was getting up to nurse in the middle of the night. But hubs always asks to see him before he goes to sleep.

Both, actually. We both have an app to access the video feed, and we both end up keeping it open on our phones beside our bed at night.

@FutureMrsMcK: Didn't even think of that. Can you access the app and feed if you are away from home? Could you check in if you were out on a date night?

It used to be on DH's side. That was nice, because that meant he would actually get up occasionally to help.
Now he refuses to have it on his side, he still wakes up first, and instead of getting up and being helpful he just pokes me until I get up. Drives me insane.

It is on the bed right next to my pillow. I call it "my baby" lol.

My side. Occasionally it's on his side when we're out of town, and it's so nice!

my side - my LO sleeps through the night, and somehow I have forgotten how, so when I wake in the middle of the night, I like to check on him.

I sleep it with off by my pillow.
When I hear either of the kids making noise I'll turn it on and flip to whichever cam I need to look at. -
My husbands side. He's a saint and does 95% of the wake ups

Ours is on DH's side. Our bed is against the wall and he sleeps on the outside. I still do the majority of the wake ups.

We took turns back when we used the monitor- whoever wasn't working the next day got it, we don't really use it much anymore.

I have the audio monitor on my side- DH is deaf so it wouldn't do any good on his side.
We both have the camera app on our phones but DH doesn't wake at night so he doesn't keep it on. -
My side. I still have to nurse my daughter back to sleep when she wakes up at night, so even if my husband heard her through the monitor he couldn't do any good.

It's on my side. I love looking at her when I wake up plus I'm the one that'll get up if she needs someone.

We use our phones so both sides! But I'm the one that turns it on in the morning...

LO still is in our room at night but, it *would* be on my side. DH sleeps like a brick.

My side. Although if my DH stays up later then I do he takes it with him. I fall asleep so easily without the noise (her white noise machine going) and knowing she is watched and ok.
