We do not have an H&M here and I just went to their website and omg I wish we had one around us! Sorry I'm not help with your question but I had to comment

H&M sizing can be way off depending on the item! My 18 month old (on the small side at 21 lbs) fit in an old H&M 4-6 month dress recently... also a 9-12 month cardigan. She also has a 1-2yo sweater handed down from her sis and it's a little big, but fits fine too. You just never know!

E's 2-4 month sweaters and dresses lasted until she turned 6 months. But she's in the 4-6 right now and they fit perfectly at 7.5 months. She's in the 50th percentile for height and weight, so pretty average.

H&M follows the Swedish sizing in centimeters, even in the States. In Sweden, clothes are only labeled based on cm, not a specific month. So a size 68, for instance is 68 centimeters, which makes it easy to figure out what size your LO's wearing since they always get measured at their wellness appointments.

Putting a month equivalent is just sorta arbitrary. For instance, my favorite H&M cardigan for DD is size 68 or a 4-6 month US. She's 67.5 cm now and it fits her perfectly, but if I went by the US size, it would have been ginormous! I think they need to adjust what sizes they equate in months for the US market.

Here's the Swedish sizes based on H&M (other brands offer a premie size 44 and lump everything up into "baby" and "boy or girl" sizes that go up to 122). So my suggestion is to look at the EUR size on the label, convert it to inches, and ignore the US size in months altogether. Hope this helps.

HM stuff is really weird. Some of the dresses she wears at size (18 months now, she's 16 months), but she has this amazing pair of 6 month jeans that she's literally been wearing for a year. They're my absolute favorite in terms of baby clothing.

I find H&M fits huge too! My LO would probably fit into some 4-6 month stuff as the 6-9 month sweaters and pants are a little big on him. I can't see him fitting into his 9-12 month stuff for at least 3-4 months if not longer! He's about 21 lbs and 28-29".

DS is 5 months and I loveeeee the solid organic cotton onesies, he wears the 4-6 month size.
