Today I was singing the word Guadeloupe instead of Waterloo in the Abba song. The song title is Waterloo. Facepalm.

One of Lala's favorite songs right now is Electric Feel by MGMT. Of course I know it is Electric Feel, but we all sing it as "Electric Eels" and it is so much more fun!

I can't think of any, but I know a couple funny ones.
In this old-ish Young Gunz rap song they reference "Rockafella Records" and my friend thought they were saying "Fellas Wanna F*** Us". Umm what?
Also, in the song "Crank Dat Soulja Boy" my brother-in-law thought they were saying "Drink that soda water". Again, I have no idea where he got that.

I just found out from Pandora the other day that the song I always thought was titled "Man on the Run", is actually titled "Band on the Run". haha, I guess man and band sound similar to me? Either way, I don't like the song. Thumbs down, Pandora.

I always sing "Welcome to the danger zone!" intsead of "Highway to the danger zone." No idea why I thought that was the lyric, SO thinks it's hysterical.

I pretty much get all song lyrics wrong, which amuses my musician husband. I'm awful. I always thought the electric boots line in Bennie and the Jets was 'she's got electric boobs, inside her suit'.
My sister always sings a line from Blinded by the Light by Springsteen as 'wrapped up like a douche a woman running in the night'. Umm, those are not the words. Lol -
I think all of them...and sometimes I like my version better !

I always sang 50'cents "In Da Club" song wrong. I thought he was saying " Go Charlotte..it's your birthday" but he's really saying "Go shorty...it's your birthday". I actually just only reently found out what the real lyrics were.
