Pretty much every cheesy country song ever made, lol. Particularly bad is 'Roll On, Daddy" by Alabama. And 'Roses For Mama'. And 'I'm Already There' by Lonestar. And, and, and...

Sarah Beth by rascal flatts. It doesn't matter where it is whenever I start to hear it, I'm crying by the end.

Eta: I think it's called skin. But, I had a student by the same name get cancer so I always think of her.

@chopsuey119: That was the song I walked down the aisle to
(God Blessed the Broken Road.) I feel like it is very "us" since we broke up for 6 years, then got back together. We def. had a "broken road!"

@BananaPancakes: I love "The Luckiest" too! I made DH a slideshow using that song for our first wedding anniversary.

@mrs. 64: Anything we know? (From your Dad?)

As for others for me: "Then" by Brad Paisley, our first dance song.)
"Walk with You" by Edwin McCain, my father-daughter dance...if you haven't heard this one you def. need to!

And also "I Am Strong" by the Grascals. UGH!! I first heard it while dealing with my first MC and it really resonated with me, then at the end you find out it's about kids with cancer. Not only gave me some perspective, but I was bawling in the car!

    I sure do music

Phillip Phillips - Home. I had it on my playlist for labor and it seems like it comes on all the time when Baby A and I are in the car.

"Hold on, to me as we go.
As we roll down this unfamiliar road.
And although this wave is stringing us along.
    Just know you’re not alone,
Cause I’m going to make this place your home."

I must be heartless and cold because I don't think that a song has ever made me cry or even get chocked up. But then again, I am the opposite of sentimental.

I am crying just reading this thread.

Sarah Beth, wow have not thought of that song in ages, but just listened and sobbed like the first time.

My number one song (and the one I danced to with my dad at our wedding) is I Loved Her First by Heartland. Still cry every time.

It only happened once, but one of the reasons I knew I was pregnant was that I cried when I heard "Marry Me" by Train. I tested the next day.

"Highway 20 Ride" - Zac Brown Band. I just read the lyrics again and have tears in my eyes.

Taking You HOme by Don Henley. I guess it was written after his kid was in the hospital for an injury? I think that's what my dad told me. But my dad heard it once on the radio and almost teared up, saying he loved it because it reminded him of when they adopted me and took me home. Now that he's passed away it is even more meaningful. That and Phil Collins You'll be in my heart and pretty much all of the dang Tarzan soundtrack, which reminds me of him.

Seriously now I am crying listening to it. I'm a glutton for punishment!

    I had a good life
    Before you came
I had my friends and my freedom
    I had my name

Still there was sorrow and emptiness
    Till you made me glad
    Oh, in this love
I found strength never knew I had

And this love is like nothing have ever known
    Take my hand love
I'm taking you home, taking you home

@TheSwissWifeStyle: Nah. He had several albums, but it was more of a hobby. He wrote songs for my sister and I when we were little and thankfully those ended up on the albums. He passed away in 2011 so I'm eternally grateful we have those.

@Mrs. Confetti: ah when I first heard I Loved Her First I cried like a baby!

    Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman

And Gravity by Sara Bareilles, mostly because of this dance from so you think you can dance. I have people in my family struggling with addiction and this interpretation really broke my heart.

My number 1 has always been the song Glasgow Love Theme or it is better known from the movie Love Actually. And honestly, who doesn't cry at some point in that movie?!

Also probably by wedding dance song: All I Want Is You-U2
and a random one: She by Elvis Costello
