We get some bad snow in Ohio sometimes... but not really compared to a lot of more northern areas. I feel like we're mostly known for our weather being unpredictable. 40-60 degree temperature swings in a day or two are totally normal. People always say if you don't like the weather in Ohio... wait an hour.

We get tornado warnings. And miserable sticky humid heat.

Hurricanes. We live on the coast of Virginia, so we get at least one hurricane a year. Thankfully they are usually deflected by the shape of the coast of NC, so we only get moderate wind and lots of rain. There's usually some damage, but nothing like NO.

ETA: We live in what is basically a huge marsh/swamp, so May-September is sticky and gross. I consider that bad weather!

I'm in New England, our winters are pretty intense

Central Texas- very very HOT. We also get massive thunderstorms with big hail sometimes.

Blizzards and the occasional hurricane. I'm RI.

Snow. This year we lived up to it.

I'm in Kansas so we are known for tornadoes. 30 years and I've never had one hit where I was though. Hoping I'm not running out on luck we also have pretty extreme temp changes. In march we went from 90* at 2pm to 40* at 5pm.

Hurricanes & flooding. (Houses don't have basements here!) We get the occasional tornado but it's not devastating here like in other parts of the country.
