I love our bed!! It was worth every cent! Would have liked to have gotten a king but it wouldn't fit in our room. This is a store picture- we have the bedsides too!

We have my double bed set from my childhood. It's small to say the least :o) Upgrading just isn't a priority at the moment, but we'll go to a queen eventually!

We purchased a really nice cherry set with a sleigh style bed and a king mattress -- which is actually two twins side-by-side because DH sleeps on a pillow top and I sleep on concrete lol

We totally need a new mattress... We didn't upgrade when we bought the bed! -
We just have an old brass headboard and full-size bed. When we move to our next place this bed will go in the guest room and we'll upgrade to a queen. As simple as it is, it feels like a luxury to us because we slept on a mattress on the floor for 2.5 years, lol.

We just bought a new bed with our tax return! I love it so much.
It's "Saint Chappelle Bed in Buckwheat" and we got it from Joss & Main.

Pretty!! Ours is a lot like that in the sense that it is low to the ground. It's this one from ikea, don't think they sell it anymore

DH liked that bed you picked out better - he liked the nailhead. But it was $100 more and we wanted to keep the costs low as possible

@Mrs. Pen: Yours looks really nice in your room! I picked ours because everyone already says things like how "feminine" our room and house is, so I thought the nail-heads and shape make it a little more masculine for DHs sake.

When we move we are getting a king size tempurpedic and I am SO excited. We have a regular queen, not headboard or anything now. I'm hoping to get the Pottery Barn Valencia ii bed as long as it suits the tempuerpedic and fits in the master. Our queen will go into the nursery for now, no headboard still (but on the basic metal bed frame, so at least it isn't on the floor.)

Our room definitely isn't finished.. we need new sheets, and buy the shams to match the duvet. We also want to paint our nightstands and get a storage bench. But it sure is a whole lot nicer than before!

We just got a new king mattress two weeks ago. It's a hybrid of springs with memory foam on the top 1/3. We're looking for a bed frame/headboard that we both like, but DH isn't a fan of upholstered headboards and I can't stand wood ones - haha.
