@MamaMoose: What do you consider to be spicy? I only ask because I know someone who eats everything completely bland...She thinks garlic is spicy!

Spicy! I add chilli flakes and/or Tabasco to whatever I can get away with.

lol I am a huge wimp when it comes to spice. "Medium" is usually too much for me.

I cannot handle spice at all!! Never have been able to. "mild" salsa and wings are still very spicy to me.

I think I handle it moderately well as long as it still has some taste and isn't just all heat. Especially with wings. I love hot wings. And I put hot sauce, chili powder and/or crushed red pepper in pretty much everything.

I loooove spicy, spicy food. I dislike when things are so hot though that you can't even really taste the spices, your mouth is just burning.

Extremely spicy. I add jalapeños and hot sauce to everything. I drink all the juice in the jalapeño jar -- the super spicy yellow ones and not the mild green nacho jalapeños.

Super spicy! Most of my meals include a little bit of sweating and a runny nose.

@Rubies: Oh no I love FLAVOR! Garlic, oregano, rosemary, etc are all delicious to me. But anything with heat (like peppercorns) I can't do.

LOVE spice and heat. Put generous amounts of sriracha on most everything

I'm a baby when it comes to spice. Sirachi and garlic chili sauce are spicy enough for me.
ETA: where is the chips, where are the spices?

I loooove me some spice! Funny thing is, I had zero tolerance for spice growing up.

I just added tabasco to my frito pie with my lunch...delish! Love some spice!

Pre-pregnancy- mild
During pregnancy- HOT (i use hot sauce as salad dressing now!)

I really like spice. I love things that are spicy but still flavourful. I do not like something that's so spicy my mouth is on fire.
I love hot curries, and can do medium salsa's. I guess maybe I'm a middle of the road.
My husband can do almost anything, I've seen him order the hottest rated items on menus and he doesn't even flinch...

I like a good amount of heat. I don't like when it's just hot with no flavor, though. I think habanero peppers have that kind of heat, so they are too hot for me. But I love jalapenos and serranos.
Here's a heat scale. I don't go above Cayenne pepper.

Mild pre-pregnancy. Still mild while pregnant, but spicier than mild, but not too much spicier.

I'd guess I'm a pablano kinda girl based on @bree72's chart. I can handle a touch of heat, but not a ton. I don't love the burning mouth feeling.

Before I met DH I could only handle a little of spice. He has trained me well because now I love spicy foods. The spicier the better!

I can't handle anything. Hubs loves Chipotle, but the few times I've been I got the plain chicken tacos with NO salsa of any kind and I still have an extremely runny nose and tingling/burning on my tongue and around my mouth. Based on the above chart, I think all I can handle is bell pepper!

@.twist.: Sounds just like my DH. I swear the inside of his mouth and throat must be coated in something. He can order hot wings that have me in tears gasping for milk (and I'm not a total heat wimp) and he'll complain that they aren't hot enough.

On a scale from 1 - 10, no more than a 6. That's the spicy number I order when we eat Thai food, anyway! My husband is a 10+, he lovvvves spicy food.

I used to like things spicy but my spice fearing DH has made me a wimp in the years we have been together! Now "mild" is good enough for me!
