I didn't soak in nearly enough of the 3 month old age with my first LO. Looking back I miss that stage the most so far!

My 2nd LO is now 12 weeks and I kind of miss the cuddly newborn stage, but mostly because she is definitely our last baby.

I miss nursing and having that downtime with DS. He is 17 months now and will cuddle when he is sick or reallllly tired (it's rare).

I was too stressed to enjoy the newborn phase with my son. So I hope to enjoy it next time around

The first 3ish months were surprisingly easy for us, and I really miss that tiny cuddly stage. Looking forward to doing it again in September! I do not miss months 8-11.

I miss snuggles. R rarely snuggles anymore and she isn't even 1 yet.

The first few months. We were really exhausted/stressed and I had an awful job that was insanely stressful and it ruined bf'ing for me...I wish I could have a do-over

Probably the first couple of months when she'd fall asleep on me. There is no way she'd fall asleep on me now...she does almost all of her sleeping in the crib. I'm glad she sleeps there and can put herself to sleep, but I miss when she'd fall asleep on my chest and we'd take a nap together!

I'm loving his age now (7months). He can sit up on his own and play independently with his toys so I don't have to entertain him myself.

I miss the snuggly newborn stage when she would just nussle in and sleep. I wish I could have bottled it up and kept it with me

I must be too close to it. I'm loving that LO is learning to crawl and getting into stuff and sleeping on her own in her crib. I don't miss the newborn phase at all!

I miss her falling asleep on me, and her little milk comas. I just don't get those sorts of snuggles anymore

@lawbee11: Yes, I do miss that sometimes...when I'll try and hold her on my shoulder sitting down but alls she does now is bang her head against my chest in frustration!

@MrsStormy: oh! Milk drunk faces. How could I forget those! I miss those too

the newborn stage for sure. in the moment, it was hard to enjoy it because of the colic/reflux issues, non-stop nursing, and just my overall anxiety and stress over things. next time I am definitely going to relax and enjoy it much much more.
