The 15-24 month toddler stage is my favorite so far, but I'm really looking forward to the pretween years of 6-9 ish. The kids will be more independent then so we can do lots more together, but they'll still be young and sweet. I fear the teenage years!

pre-tween. I think it is the nearing the end of innocence. It is still curious, still fun and still full of things to learn...yet they have some independence and some maturity so that we can give and take with them (conversationally).
I also think my age (34 when my son is 10) will be prime as well! -
Baby D hasn't come yet, but I am so looking forward to the toddler years when everything is still pretty new to them, and they are starting to develop as little walking, talking people!

I love toddlerhood, but I'm really looking forward to the 4-9 range. I think preteen years are scarier than teenage years!

Trying for almost a year and snuggling my brand new nephews, I was just focused on getting a baby in my arms, I hadn't really thought much beyond that.
I am definitely loving 12+ months, he is so much fun to hang out and do stuff with- I know he is only going to get more and more fun! The first 12 months were nice, but after a year is when the real fun started

I really have no idea! It's so hard to imagine M being in all those different stages.
All I know is that my mom says that she has more and more fun with us every year

12m + is definitely the best for me so far. I think with #2 ill enjoy 0-3 months but I was so freaked out and scared the first time. I can't wait until she's really telling me stories and is potty trained so maybe 4-5? Lol

I'm having way more fun post 1 year... especially now at 14 months. DD is gaining a longer attention span, she interacts much more, and she is *walking*! ...But she is still so adorable and really still just a sweet, squishy, giggly baby. I love this time

DS going to be 6 in August, starting first grade, and right now he's the most fun he's ever been.

I would say 5-9 might be fun. they are in school, more independent but still learning a lot about the world. Plus, they will hopefully not have the tween attitude.

When they can start playing sports! I'm so excited to watch them play!

I think teen will be super fun. I taught middle school for 8 years and am teaching high school next year! I just love that age.

When I can send them to bed and they actually go.
Or when they're out of the house. Mwahaha.

Around 5-9 when she still wants to hang out with me but she's not breastfeeding or wearing diapers. I am really looking forward to hanging out but not having her be dependent on me for everything.

I can't decide between the toddler years and preschool. LO is almost one now and this stage is so much fun! I can only imagine it getting better from here.

PSA to all: they can still be awesome in middle school/ high school years. Obviously, some kids are horrible, but a lot are amazing. It's the age I work with and while I do have students who make my life miserable, I also have plenty that are literally a joy to have around, and you just know their parents have done it right.
So there's hope!
(I think knowing your child isn't perfect and teaching them to own up to their bad choices goes a looong way. Even when a kid is kind of a butt, when they apologize after, you can't help but adore them again).

So far my absolute favorite is post-learning to talk, pre-terrible two tantrums. Then after the terrible twos are under control has been pretty fun as well. I think it just gets better and better

So far I LOVE toddler years. 12m+ has been SOO fun. He is interactive, a semblance of independence, funny, smart and learning new things every day... yet it's evident he still *needs* me and wants me and I love that.
I do look forward to 5-10 for things like vacations, sports etc. But I'm enjoying toddlerhood sooo much.
I actually am excited for teen years as well, as long as they keep me somewhat in their lives!

I also really enjoyed 18-24 months the most. He was so happy and easy going! I'm looking forward to 6-9, where they are independent but sweet.

man, i feel like i am the only one not looking forward to any of this! only because i feel like she is growing SO fast and am loving every moment of this baby stage (7 months). i KNOW that each stage will be more and more fun, but it makes me a little sad that she will no longer be a little baby soon!
that being said, I think toddler hood will be the most fun, our niece is that age and she is a riot!

I'm excited for the preschool/kindergarten years when they are learning lots, talking like kids, and into all sorts of activities, and also out of the cranky years. I'm looking forward to toddler years just because it will be even more development into what kind of kid he'll be and I'm excited to see what he'll be like, but I know that there will be some inherent difficulties and still some stuff he may not be as into, still needing to take naps so most outings would still be a little hard, etc.
Honestly, I'm looking forward to all of it because I can't wait to see what kind of person he turns into
ETA But that being said I love him now, too, and am in NO hurry for him to grow up!!

I'm voting for all of them, because in the moment each one seems so special. I loved a phase with Lala and then loved the next, and then enjoyed that earlier phase again with M. Seriously, just seeing them grow and develop is a wonder!

I do love things about each stage but I think the early school years could be really fun. Also my mom says being a grandma is way better but I am not ready to think about dating let alone them having kids but still it is something to look forward to.

I voted toddler because at 22months, LO is so much fun! She is learning so much and says/does new things every day! She makes me laugh all the time!

I'm thinking baby-2. They're still little babies but are growing and learning all the time....I have 0 patience, so 4 year olds and I do not get along lol!

Preschool is fun, but not the tantrums.
Loving the kindergarten age right now! I've heard from school-aged parents that 5-7 yo are the "golden years" of childhood. They love to remember their kids during these years.
My 5 yo is super sweet, affectionate and just loves to have fun! Also, compared to her preschool years, she's more adventurous with food and new experiences. She's a good kid who listens and is curious about the world. She is nonstop learning and growing. She sleeps well and is more and more independent everyday. It's a great, great age!

I love every stage! My daughter is 10 months and I always think "this is my favorite age". But then my son cracks me with all of his funny antics and I think "no, THIS is my favorite age".

I love this stage (daughter is 2.5 years) despite the tantrums and whining. She is soo sooooo sweet and makes me laugh all the time!! Plus her imagination and the things she's learning and saying is always blowing me away. But I think I'll love the 5-7 kindergarten, pretween years as well.
