Mine was an Anne Barge La Fleur. It was empire-waisted with a little bit of beading. Really flowy. And the outer layer of chiffon was covered in swiss dots. I was totally in love with it.

If I were to get married again, I'd probably wear that again (even though I consigned it). But I might try something a little different - maybe something like that super-popular A-line Amsale dress (with pockets, of course!).

I wore a strapless dress with beading on the top & tulle on the bottom (think Kate Hudson in Bride Wars sort of) & I love it! If I did it all over again I'd pick a different dress I think, but that dress was perfect for our day I can't wait to renew our vows & get another lol

@ms.janedoe: I live in WI and I got married in October last year! I hope you have weather like we did!!! Overcast, and mid 60's. PERFECT weather!

Mine was Allure. I still love my dress, 2 years later. I'd probably wear something similar. If I had to do it over, I'd save my pennies and buy the Christos Desiree.

@MrsBrewer: Oh man, that'd be so great! We honestly have NO idea what to expect--it could be 95 and sunny, 60 and overecast (fingers crossed!), or, who knows, 25 and snowing! Gotta love the Midwest!

@ms.janedoe: Very true! No matter what, it will be perfect Where in WI are you getting married? We got married just outside of Milwaukee

I wore a priscilla of boston beaded trumpet style gown which I loved! But if I could do it all over again I would have worn the Selia Yang Natalie that was my second choice just because it's much lighter and I wouldn't have gotten such horrible customer service! It's the same style, but much more clean and modern looking.

I only went to one store and bought this off the rack - but I loved it! The sleeves and neckline were my favorite. I'm in the middle of a weird step here so it looks wrinkly but the bodice beading was so pretty!

I wish I'd tried on a mermaid silhouette and probably would if I was picking a dress now.. but no regrets! I was trying to stick to a strict budget and bought it for $100, sold it for $50. Still have a piece from the train that was hemmed off for some sentimental craft

I wore a dress from david's bridal. I still like it, and although I would have loved a designer one, I'm very glad I didn't spend $4,000+ on a dress.

I wore a Maggie and I would pick the same dress again. I searched for months to find the perfect dress and as soon as I saw it online I knew it was the one!

@Coco Bee: I was thinking the same thing, she is glowing!

I wore Maggie Mirabella, pretty sure I would chose the same dress all over again.

Fun to see everyone's dresses! Mine was made by my aunt, from my idea. I would probably do something different now, because I know more about my style and body type now (I was only 21) but it was simple and stylish so mostly what I wanted. I would have gone tighter and worn a corset if I had known better.

I made a weekend trip to the States and came back with this one from David's Bridal. Man, I loved that store. So peeved that it was a year late in coming to my city! I would only change my dress if I was thinner and could get away with one of those sheath lacy dresses.

@sandy: I love the ruffles!! I wanted one like that but it didn't look good on me for some reason

I actually loved my dress. It surprised me because I really didn't want a lace dress, but once I tried it on, I cried. I would probably wear the same thing again!

Here's mine (this is one of only two pictures from my wedding where you can see the whole dress...):

It was two years ago, but I think i would still pick the same dress today!

It was from JCrew, had one thick strap and one thin, chiffon with organza flowers on one side, and had POCKETS.

I wore the Rivini Lismora 18 months ago. Wouldn't be able to wear it again because I sold it on preownedweddingdresses, but still would probably pick it. The only thing I'd change is my hair, it didn't come out like I wanted.

pockets on ANY dress is a plus in my book

you all are so gorgeous in your wedding dresses!!! mine was a traditional strapless a-line with beading on the bodice and princess box pleats. it was okay. i never LOOOVED my dress, but i had a budget and it was still pretty. if i were to do it all over again, i think i'd choose a fitted lace gown with cap sleeves or a sweetheart neckline with more ruching along the top. i think my dress was a little too simple.

@kjwinter: I would change my hair too. Even though my stylist was great, my hair looked nothing like my inspiration photo

    @BabyBoecksMom: that is so gorgeous.

I got my dress at David's Bridal and it was a strapless, satin trumpet. I loved my dress! I felt like it was timeless and I can't see myself ever not loving it!

    Sigh....this thread is so wonderful.

I was satisfied with my dress. But I wish I would have taken more time to pick out something I loved. The whole dress buying saga was really stressful to me b/c I was just coming out of an eating disorder and the sizing on the dresses gave me a ton of anxiety. So, I just picked the first one that looked good enough.

I'd go for something a little more flowy/ethereal next time

if i had to do it all over again... hmmm i think i'd want to wear a sweetheart mermaid type dress.

@highwire: The sizes are horrible!!! I do not understand why they do that to people.

Everyone looks so lovely! I went very non traditional with a red cocktail length dress. I had it made by a local wedding dress designer which ended up costing about as much as it would have to buy something in the store and have it altered.

Ok Ok I will play along!

I love my dress! I wasn't very picky at all though, and it fit me perfectly!

I wore a short dress. Sometimes I'm sad that I didn't wear a big ballerina dress with tons of tulle..... but I chose my dress because I hate being center of attention and I didn't want a "look at me!" dress. So if I had to do it over again, I would have done the same thing. Unless I could have convinced DH to elope and then it was just us, I didn't mind just him looking at me

@artbee: Your dress is sooo beautiful! I love all the delicate lace! My runner up dress was one with all lace!

Mine was Pronovias and I LOVED it. Still do. I originally wanted straps but never found one I liked with straps. It was alencon lace over pleated tulle.

@MrsBrewer: Aww thanks! I'm saving the dress. I figure if my LO doesn't want the actual dress hopefully she'll be able to use the lace in some way.

I wore a one shoulder, silk taffeta ball gown with a very long train. It had a natural waistline and a belt (like a real belt with a buckle and everything). It had pockets!

Although I loved my dress, if I were to do it again I would wear an exact replica of this exquisite gown, headband too:

This one is a pic from the back, and my dress bustled. These two are the only ones I have on my phone!
