I love low back dresses and tops but I won't wear them because I have a bit of back fat! What styles do you like but won't/can't wear?

I love button-down shirts tucked into pants (like for work) but have never worn it because I've always been too self-conscious about my stomach/gut.

I like skinny jeans, but I have ginormous thighs and skinny jeans just really emphasize them.

I like those peasant tops/dresses that kind of cinch just above the hips but they always rolls up my stomach and I totally can't wear them.
And most strapless things just make me look wide and flat-chested. -
I can't do peasant tops or loose fitting stuff up top. At 5'0, they immediately make me look dumpy. I have to wear fitted tops, or belt the loose ones.

@Adira: Ditto!! I still don't get why I inherited my grandma's big hips and thighs but not the boobs.

@Smurfette: Oh my gosh, YES!!! At least if I had bigger boobs, I'd be more proportionate! Now I just have a HUGE lower body and small upper. It sucks.

Peplum tops and dresses. I think they are so cute, but I think they draw too much attention to my hips.

I LOVE the way that skinny jeans (especially with heels) look on most people but I could never pull them off because of my thighs/hips.

i love strapless tops but i am self conscious about my back...i love the belted look too, but i have a short torso and my waist doesn't go in, so i end up just looking weirdly proportioned when i try it out.

I thought I couldn't wear skinny jeans, but then I tried some on (Levi's) and with a longer tunic they worked. I was shocked. I am living in my pair now.
I do like those a-line style dresses, but they emphasize my lower half and that's not flattering.
