I never share pears with anyone (anyone I like anyway) because to say "share a pear" in Chinese sounds like "to separate". So I wouldn't want to separate with DH, LO, or my parents so we never share pears.
DH loves to "knock on wood" and it drives me nuts. That one is a pet peeve of mine!

I knock on wood. I also have a weird thing about planes that I really like to touch the outside of the plane before I get on. For some reason that comforts me. I fly all the time but I have been one two planes that were hit with lightening and had an engine fail on a prop plane out of the bahamas so I'm a nervous flier.

I would never walk under an open ladder or open an umbrella inside the house. Black cats don't bother me, probably because I had one! 
Oh, I'm also super careful of mirrors, don't want to break one of those....

Share a pear? How interesting! My best friend is Chinese so I'm gonna ask her about that one. I don't really have any superstitions but my husband has a ton of them related to sports. He always blames me if his favorite team loses because I did something to jinx them.

My biggest one is that I don't split poles when walking down the street with family. "Split the pole, split the family." If you do split the pole then you have to say a pair out loud--I usually say "peanut butter and jelly" or "peas and carrots."
I knock on wood.
I never put a hat on the bed.
Before I was engaged/married, I never let anyone who was sweeping sweep over my feet because if you let them it means you wouldn't be geting married.
I pick up a penny on the ground only if it's heads.
Wow. I never realized how superstitious I am!

Oh and when I was younger and was mad at my mom I used to try and step on every crack in the street! HAHA. I was kind of evil.

I try to avoid them when I can but if I can't help it, I don't usually let it bother me.
