Hellobee Boards

1st bday was 3-5 and second was 11-1. Both were good in terms of naptime and bedtime. I would've preferred 3-5 for the second bday but there was a football game dh wanted to watch we compromised.

3-5pm, then it worked for the babies on 1 or 2 naps.

We did 12-2 because she was still on two naps (about to drop to one) and I wanted to make sure she had gotten some sleep. So planning around sleep I think is the main consideration!

12-3! We served a full lunch.

First bday was at noon. 2nd bday was at 10. Made the decision based in nap times. When she was 1 she still took a morning nap, although of course on the day of her party she didn't.

I think we started at 4 and just let the party go till everyone left.

We had it at 4 and served appetizers. (Orange chicken skewers, egg rolls, veggies.)

Her first and second birthday parties were both at 11am. I prefer daytime kids parties, and Sadie normally naps 1-3:30/4. 11 was perfect for us.

I've always had LOs birthday parties start at 11.

4-6. We did dinner foods. We cooked on the grill and had lots of sides and desserts. It went really well and people ended up staying until 7, which was fine. It was after naptime, which worked out great for us and it was early enough to send people home at a reasonable time if their kids have early bedtimes.
