isn't 8:40 and i'm still waiting on DH to get home. he had an interview after work and went to the gym. i kinda wanted him to skip the gym but he has a powerlifting competition coming up so he really can't miss any gym time =/ usually he gets out of work between 3-4, goes to the gym & gets home 730-830. i wish he got home earlier! what time does your SO get home in the evening?

DH works second shift right now, so he doesn't get home until 12:20am. He leaves around 2:00pm so we get the mornings together.

He's a professor so it changes every semester. But he only teaches 2 days a week so even when he teaches night classes he's only home late 2 nights a week!

He is salary and he usually gets home any time between 3 and 7 depending on the day. He leaves the house at around 6am.

Between 7 and 7:30.. Wish it were earlier since 7:30 is DS's bed time and 8:30 is DD's. Doesn't give him much time with the kids or time to help me with the evening routine.

@T-Mom: we often have the debate that once there are LOs in the picture that since he leaves at 7am and doesn't get home until late that he could go days without seeing them. that must stink for all of you, i'm sorry!

@mrs. bird: aw thanks. Sometimes I think about changing bed times so be can better see them but then I realize it's not practical either since they have to be up in time for me to go to work. I'm sure something will work out for you guys.. Things change and honestly I'm just glad DH is not traveling right now since that's 10x worse!

Mondays he's home at 4, Tuesdays is 10:30, Wednesday is 11 and Thursday is 10:30.

Usually he is home by 6, but sometimes he gets stuck or if things are slow he just has to stay until he hits his numbers. I hate those times. The other side of this is if things are going well, he can come home whenver he wants and sometimes he'll stay home in the morning a little.

2pm. He leaves for work a little before 5am though. He works 5:30am-1:30pm. It works really well for us... especially with a babe on the way.

But most weeks he gets at least one night he can come home earlier, closer to 5pm.

It depends. He works 7-3:30 except Thursdays when he's 1230-9, so we leave the house at 630. If I pick him up, usually 4. If he takes the bus, then 530(ish). If he goes to the gym, & I pick him up, and we're usually home by 5:30-6 as well, but if he takes the bus he's sometimes as late as 8!

It varies. He covers high school sports and spring training baseball for the paper, so sometimes he works from home, sometimes he covers stuff during the day, or sometimes he has a night game. When working outside the house he could be home anytime between 5 p.m. and 2 in the morning.

@littlek: I have a finance DH. It gets better.
He now leaves about 7:30-8:30 am and gets home about 7-8pm, if he doesn't got the gym or have a client dinner, etc. He's starting to train himself to get to the gym early in the morning, so I'm hoping for 7ish when the baby arrives. -
Until recently 7 or 7:30, but DH started a new job in the new year. We now work a five minute walk from one another which means we can carpool. I finish at 4 and hang around in my office until he's done around 4:45 or 5:00. We're not sure what to do with all our newfound time together!
But most weeks he gets at least one night he can come home earlier, closer to 5pm.
