What time does your LO get a bath?
I've been trying to make it a part of their night time routine but I find I'm ready for them to be in the tub around 5:30-6:00 and that's just too early. I guess I like to get it over with!

7, but we don't get home until almost 6 so it really can't be any earlier.

I think I'm the only person in the world that bathes them in the morning haha.

Almost 5 and during the school year we start at 6:15-6:45 and then get ready for bed and bedtime stories - lights out at 7:30. Right now we're doing showers bc it's just easier for me being pregnant and it's so much faster (6:30-6:45). We aim for a 7:30 bedtime bc I have to wake her for school at 7:00am.

@MrsB2012: He takes a shower with me in the morning most of the time. Otherwise it is directly after dinner, mainly due to the fact that he is wearing dinner.

Between 645 and 7. They bathe together and DD2 goes straight to bed after that. DD1 gets to play/hang out for a good 15 to 20 minutes before we start the rest of her routine

@MrsB2012: I often do too- DD hops in the shower with me in the AM because it's just easier to me not to deal with the bath toy situation and endless requests for additional bubble bath. She only usually gets a bath after dinner if we are doing something really early in the morning or if she got super dirty from dinner.

It's not routine. Sometimes a shower, sometimes a bath in the am or pm, really whenever she needs one. Sometimes we skip a day

@Mrs. Toad: @caterw: I started doing them in the morning when my oldest went through a phase of having super saturated diapers. I wanted to start the day off clean. Now it just seems to work better. Nights are busy as dh picks them up from daycare at 545, gets them dinner and has them in bed by 7. No time for an evening bath!!

@MrsB2012: Nope! Our son showers in the morning. So much easier.

I've never understood bedtime bath. Maybe we have too many toys to make bathtime relaxing. She's always playing and goofing around and it doesn't calm her down at all. We do bath right after dinner on bath nights, or I'll do it during the day on a day we're home.

@youboots: Whew! I thought I was the only one who skips days after reading this thread....
When a washcloth won't clean him up enough after dinner or he wants to join Dad in the shower, or his feet are really black from playing barefoot outside. He loves baths, so they are more the treat than part of a bedtime routine. My mother would be appalled
