Kelly Ripa was talking about this yesterday. She says thanksgiving dinner should be at dinner time!!! Lol.
We are doing ours at 3 because I also don't want to wait that long

We are eating around 4 p.m. Usually when my Grandma does Thanksgiving, we eat around 1 p.m....super early!

We usually do lunch at noon with my side, and then dinner around 6 with my husband's, but we're changing it up this year. Hubs has to work until 1:30, so were doing lunch at 2 with my family, and dinner with his family on Friday -- two days of thanksgiving!! Yay!

Ours is just a little earlier than regular dinner time - around 6pm. Having a later T-day dinner just means there is more time to nom on all the appetizers!

Just to clarify, dinner is the main meal of the day, regardless of whether it's at lunch-time or supper-time!
We have Thanksgiving Dinner at 1:00 p.m.

that's so late!! we always do a mid-day meal. Usually 1-2pm and then we're full the rest of the day so it works out splendidly.
We are home for Thanksgiving - but Friday going to my parents and Saturday doing an extended family get together.

@hilsy85: that's us too - but we eat so much and get so full we don't eat the rest of the day so it's lunch and dinner!

We're doing a late lunch at 2PM with my family, and then heading to my SIL's for dinner around 6 or 7PM. Ughh... I am looking forward to the food, but not the overeating (which is inevitable).

Between 3 and 4. My dad and stepmom usually come over around 1 p.m. and hang out for a bit. Then we eat, they hang out a bit more, they leave, we nap, and we have second dinner of leftovers around 8

My family always started at 5 with appetizers, then dinner at 6 or 6:30. My in-laws start at 1:00 so it's an adjustment! They end up having a second dinner at like, 7.

We'll eat between 3 and 4. I'll just graze for a few hours this year since I can't eat much in one sitting right now. Plus it gives me time for a nap!

Ours is whenever we get there. We're the only one with a LO so it's when she wakes up from her nap.

We are eating any minute now, 6 pm. Our families always do the meal at a regular dinner time.
