THE DREAM: In a perfect world, I'd wake up at 7 and the kids would wake up around 8/8:30... and we wouldn't have to be anywhere before 11 am.
TODAY: Pretty close today! The kids woke up around 8/8:30 and there's no school today because of Presidents Day. I woke up early though, because I can't have nice things.
REALITY: I usually wake up around 5 or 6, the kids wake up at 7:30 or so, and we have to be out the door on the way to school by 8:20.

I'd love to start our day after 7. Today my kids woke at 6:45 so pretty close! Now if only they'd stop waking up so much at night. Last night was 5 times between the two of them.

7 is my perfect time to wake up. I'd love to wake up at 7, have LO wake around 745 or 8 and we could be out the door by 930 or 10. Or we could just stay home lol LO is usually up around 630 though and I struggle with getting to bed before 10 and that makes attempting a 6 am wake up really hard for me so I just get up when she does and praise God the days she sleeps till 7 or 730. That extra 30 minutes to an hour really makes a difference in my day for some reason.

I'd love it if the kids woke up by 730. Right now, they get up around 6:30, but sometimes, they are awake singing songs very loudly at six.

I would wake up at 8:00 and dd would wake at 9:30!
That would be a dream.
I wake up at 6 and have to wake dd up at 7 to leave on time during weekdays. She woke up at 6:45 today and had to pee and she told me she was going to stay awake. At least it's not the weekend!

Dream- DD1 wakes up at 7 and DD2 wakes up at 8 giving me time to situate DD1 before attending to DD2. I have the option of waking up earlier to work out if I would like or to just sleep until 7 
Reality/ Today- DD1 wakes up at 5:15 tired it won't sleep anymore. DD2 wakes up 5:30 to nurse.

Reality: DD up at 430-5 am, me up 430-5, out the door at 6 for me, DH takes DD to daycare at 730

Right now LO and I get up at 8/8:30 because my work day starts at 10. It's almost perfect, I wish she would wake up a half hour after me. Some mornings she wakes me up and some mornings I am struggling to wake her up.
We are both going to have to start getting up at 6:45/7 am soon and I am dreading it!

When I'm working, I would ideally wake up at 5am, have breakfast, get ready and organized for the day. T would wake up at 7, we'd leave at 7:15am, get to the babysitters at 7:35ish and I'd get to work by 7:50!
Reality I'd sleep in until 6:30, rush to get ready and take care of T who would wake up at 6:30 too and make it to work at 8:30. Lol

It would be great to sleep in until 7 or 7:30. LO wakes up 6:15-6:30 usually and most days I go to the gym at 5:45.

I would love to have to be at work at 10, so start my day around 8, LO up around 8:30-9 and out the door around 9:30. But then I want my work day to be over by 3

pre-baby, I woke up around 7:30/8, walked the dogs, got dressed, and actually started working around 9/9:30. That was awesome.
Now, the reality is more all over the place. On a daycare day (3 days/week), LO and I generally leave the house around 8:30, but she's up anytime between 5 and 7, though if she wakes up at 5 I usually get dh up to play with her around 5:30 and I go back to sleep, and she sometimes takes a nap around 6...Today, she was up at 6:15. Which isn't bad, except she was also up from 11:20-12:30 and 2:30-4...

This holiday weekend has been pretty ideal for me. I wake up around 8:30, my daughter sleeps for another hour or so, and then she wakes up and we watch cartoons and eat breakfast and take a bubble bath. Then we wake my husband up around 11, and everyone has basically had the perfect morning.

Ideally my kids would wake up around 8am. Unfortunately that is not our reality - the kids are usually up and at 'em by 6:30. It makes for long mornings!

My day usually starts at 5:20, but that is for work, not baby. My son is usually up between 6-7 depending on the day (6 on weekdays because daycare results in early bedtime.
My ideal is actually 6:30 though! I always feel so much more accomplished when I get an early start on the day but ugh, that 5 am hour gets me. I guess I'm a morning person.

We're awake at 5:45, we wake the kids at 6:15, and we're out the door at 6:45. It's the only way we can make our train to be on time for work. ideally we wake the kids.. but sometimes the younger one wakes us around 5.

I'm going to go against the grain and say I'd like to wake earlier. In a dream world I'd wake around 7, and DD around 8. She'd go to bed around 8 and me between 11 and 12.
The reality is that DH works second shift, I work from home (for now) and the three of us are all night owls. We all get up together sometime between 10 and 11! (with bedtimes that fit with that). It works in that it's the only way we all send quality time together and get enough sleep, but it means the morning is gone.
As an aside, DD is an extreme night owl. Left to her own devices she'd sleep from 1-2am to about 1pm. If we let her stay up even one night an hour past her bedtime it's a nightmare to get her back down "early" (between 10 and 11) again.

@Mrs. Sunshine: I could have written your response! I feel exactly the same way. I always tell my husband that the day's tone is set by whether LO wakes up before or after 7!!! My ideal is to get him at 7:30-8am but I'd give anything for a regular 7am wakeup around here!!! One can dream, right?

In a perfect world, I'd get up around 8 and not have to be anywhere until 10. Now I get up around 7 and before maternity leave started, I was out the door by 7:40. Liam usually wakes up around the same time that I do.
