My DS can pull himself up but not all the time. Sometimes I just stand him up and let him hold on to the table. Then when he falls he tries again and sometimes gets it. Sometimes I just do it for him if I have to get something done! Lol. He also learned in the crib first so I put some toys in there and he practices pulling up and if he falls he just starts playing with the toys.

We went through this too but it really didn't last long before she was able to pull herself up and then she just cruised happily all day.

Just like all things with babies this too shall pass. I remember this phase being a little annoying though because he constantly wanted to be pulling up but hadn't mastered it yet. I would have to hover all the time. I would put a box near him and let him practice pulling up on it.

Oh gosh, DS is like this right now. He also wants to walk holding our hands. My back is killing me! I hope it passes soon.

One of my friends was having lots of back pain from this problem, her son just wanted to "walk" with her holding his hands all the time. She finally got him a walker and is doing much better. I'm sure it'll pass once he figures out how to do more on his own, but hopefully the vtech walker will help!
