Got my test results from an intense blood workup yesterday. Notes from my doctor said that I need to make an appointment to come in and talk about results.

Part of what she delivered was a discovery of compound heterozygous MTHFR mutations.

Is this only important to acknowledge while TTC? My first pregnancy ended in m/c, and it took us awhile to finally get pregnant again with our daughter. I'm not TTC now, but I wonder if my doc will recommend a plan for the future.

I know there are bees here with this issue, and I'd love to know what to expect.
