D's 2nd birthday is tomorrow, and we're hosting a small family party. He's obsessed with the movie Planes, so we're loosely doing a Planes-themed party. We decided it woudl be fun to have a "wing bar," so we're ordering 4 diffrent flavors of wings. I just can't decide what other "main" dish to serve for the kids/non-wing-eaters at the party! I was thinking pulled pork sliders, but they're so messy and not terribly kid-friendly. My husband thinks we should just order pizza. I am thinking cheeseburger sliders. Does anyone else have any brilliant ideas? Bonus if it's at all plane-related.

I was just at a party this weekend that served wings: they also had pizza, chicken nuggets for the kids, fruit tray, veggie tray with dip and chips. It was perfect (there were 40+ people so you could cut it down a bit)

I just saw someone on Pinterest post this - if you're feeling super creative (and kids + pigs in a blanket are almost always successful.) You could even set up ketchup, mustard, cheesy sauce, etc. as refueling stations!

You could get an airplane shaped cookie cutter and make airplane shaped sandwiches.
If you could find cheap divided trays, that would be like the old days of flying when you got a real meal and serve maybe salad and fruit on the tray, then people could add the wings!
Make veggie sticks and dip and call them "carrot wings" instead of carrot sticks.

Pizza or chicken fingers always to with wings!
Wings are super messy so I wouldn't worry about pulled pork sliders being messy. Lol
