Hands down, Casey Anthony still can't believe she was found innocent!! Seriously what were those jurors thinking!

Same...I could see the shadow of a doubt thing, but she didn't get in trouble for anything!

@Dandelion: I thought that she got charged with obstruction of justice or misleading the police. She was held accountable for that, but not the death of her daughter.

@cascademom: Yeah...true, but I mean nothing in regards to her daughter. Neglect or anything.

same as others- casey anthony. my DH is a lawyer and it drives him crazy when jurors do not understand "beyond a reasonable doubt". this does NOT mean you have to be "110%, absolutely positively SURE" that they did not do it. there can still be doubt, but only to the extent that it would not affect a "reasonable persons" belief that the person is guilty.

Casey Anthony for sure, especially since she was tried in the south. I thought she would get the death penalty for sure.
OJ Simpson, so clearly guilty.

Casey Anthony here too. I also think the initial guilty verdict in the Amanda Knox case was wrong.

Nothing. LOL. A good lawyer can make anything happen, unfortunately.

@yoursilverlining: Why do you think Southerners would have been more likely to find CA guilty?

The sentencing in this case of the Oakland transit cop who killed an unarmed, handcuffed man was too light. The cop said he mistook his gun for a taser. He was given 2 years in jail.

Initial verdict for Amanda Knox surprised me.
Casey Anthony didn't surprise me - I believe she's guilty, but in watching the trial I could totally see a case for reasonable doubt.

@Arden: oh ya I forgot about Amanda knox, that whole case against her was ridiculous!

Casey Anthony but I just went through jury duty earlier this week and the jurors could not be biased based on what they heard on the news. The evidence had to compelling enough to charge her. They had to use just the evidence given to them. It's hard. I'm sure the jurors on the trial were and are beating themselves up for whatever reasons they were not able convict her.
