So we are getting cabin fever! I want to do some fun activities with my daughter who is 7.5 months, but I feel like she is still too young for the children's museum and other toddler intended things. What do you do?

We've been to story time at the library. But I like being home so I don't do much.

She gets dragged to whatever sounds like fun for big brother. But she seems to like the open play some community centers around here have (like a gym that they fill with toys for babies and toddlers). We swim inside at the gym. She likes strolling around the mall and chatting about what we see. She loves the library.

@OhCaptain: our library has a baby and me group but the registration is closed. So I think I have to wait until the next session.

Oh also we did a baby swim class at that age (parent & me), super fun!

The weather here has been nice and sunny. I've been taking LO to the park down the street. I bring a blanket to lay on the grass and some toys for her to play with. We also go down the slide and play on the swings. She's 8.5 mos. and learning how to stand on her own so the grass is perfect for that! She refuses to stand up on her own at home on the wood floors

I take her to story time with her big sisters. I just signed up for a free Mygym class!

With our 7 month old we go to library story time. We also go to the grocery store a lot just to wander around - she loves looking around. Bundle up and take a long walk?

She likes swinging in the park. Is there anywhere that has little train rides? We have a couple parks, and shopping centers with a train that she loves. We do playdates with other babies that age. Pet store- she loves looking at the fish and birds. She loves stroller rides and going shopping sitting in the shopping cart. We try and get out of the house at least once a day plus 1-2 stroller walks.

We'd frequent our local university; they have a marine lab and an aboretum; she loved looking at the fish and flowers.
Otherwise, we'd visit the library, baby story time or otherwise. Picnics in the park, or walks on the beach, when the sun was shining. Wearing her everywhere made it simple. We also had a tot gym that held classes for crawlers and up.
