We are currently using wipeable bibs from Target but they are getting gross despite washing/soaking and scrubbing them. I'm debating if I should just go buy new of what we have or try for something else.

We like the tommy tippee bibs with the catch pocket. They're like a thick rubber almost and have held up AWESOME. I used to have some vinyl ones but the snaps were a pain

@blackbird: ours have the catch pocket but not the thick rubber kind, I bet those would clean up better too, yes?

We use the same as @blackbird and they are great! We started with the washable ones with the pocket but they got gross after a shirt time. The Tommee Tippee ones are much better. They do stain a bit if you don't wipe right away, but that's not a big deal for me. At least they don't stink!

We have the TT ones as well, when she wears it it works great, but she's in an anti-bib phase

DH bought these bibs from the Masters. They are Awesome. LO hated plastic catch tray bibs. Sigh.

We prefer "towel" bibs we bought on etsy. They are easy to put on, full coverage, and I just throw em in with the towels.

We use a Baby Bjorn bib. I rinse it between meals and toss it in the top rack of the dishwasher at night.

Same as @blackbird: Holding up great. I just wash it with the rest of the dishes.
We also have some long sleeve Bumbkin ones that you can wash.

We use Make My Day silicone baby bibs. Super easy to clean and the pocket catches everything. Probably one of my favorite baby products yet!

We use the bumkin bibs. I had a similar problem as you with the wipeable bibs, and it would smell funny even after cleaning them and air drying them on the top rack of our dishwasher.
So now what I do is I'll wash them, squeeze out any excess water, wipe them dry with a dish towel, then hang it outside and sun them out - no more smells and always as good as new afterwards!
If it's at night I'll still do the same thing - let it air dry outside overnight, then let the sun warm them up in the morning.

So right now our LO just eats with her diaper on. If I put a bib on her she just tries to eat it! We have tried the tommy tippee ones and other wipeable bibs but she just tries to shove them in her mouth the whole time. She's 10 months and I have no problem feeding her naked at home, but it's a bit awkward when we go to a restaurant!
