I have an assortment of pans but I want to get a nice hard anodized set. I was about to get a Calphalon set a Costco last night. But I read the reviews and it didn't do so great.
I saw a nice Kirkland signature set that got better reviews. I'll wait till it goes in sale.

We use Kirkland Signature! Love them. I don't know if they ever go on sale since its an item they always stock at Costco.

Right now, the cast iron skillet that I got for $15 at the supermarket is my workhorse. I even prefer it to my Le creuset pieces. I have a Dutch oven and a braiser.
The second most used piece of cookware is my stainless steel steamer pot from crate & barrel. Perfect for steaming dumplings, small batches of pasta, veggies, soups.
I used to own a nonstick set from cuisinart, which I bought with one of my first paychecks. It was nice at the time for a novice cook, but now I would never buy a set. It's really great to have a variety of surfaces to work with.

I have calphalon (from Macy's) and circulon. My calphalon is the shit. I have an electric stove top. I also use cast iron or grill frequently. The calphalon lasagna pan gets used like CRAZY, even though it goes in the oven

Mostly All-Clad and Le Creuset. We have some Calphalon pans but don't love them.

We have All-Clad, Calphalon, and a Staub Dutch Oven. I'd love some Mauviel copper pots, if only to display, they're so gorgeous! I could always use a larger dutch oven, since I cook to capacity!

I have a mix of All Clad and Tramontina (an All-Clad like tri-ply stainless cook wear brand that is highly rated) for our stainless cookwear. I use LeCruset for castiron and I 
it. So worth the higher costs. I have one small LeCruset skillet that is so well seasoned, I can easily scramble eggs in it.
DH has a set of Emril nonstick pots and pans from before. I don't like to cook with nonstick if at all possible so he's the only one that uses the set. It's held up ok but not great. I'll probably replace it with something else sometime down the line.

I have a stainless steel All-Clad set, one Mauviel nonstick skillet, a small Le Creuset Dutch oven and a monsterous Staub Dutch oven. We also have assorted pots and pans from DH's single days. I really want to give them away since I never use them, but DH won't let me.
Cookware is definitely worth investing in. I don't think I have anything left to purchase at this point since everything should last for decades to come.
@shopaholic: I gifted my brother a Mauviel 13" copper skillet last year for his wedding. He had been wanting one for years and was stoked!

@sunny: I just picked up the 15 piece set Kirkland signature hard anodized for $119 at Costco! There was a $30 off coupon that's good til Oct 20th!
I just had to get it. Early Christmas present for me!

We use cast iron skillets the most, and have 4 of them. Next most used are our le crueset Dutch ovens.
