I have an affinity for ranunculus and anemones, though peonies are also always nice.
What about you?

I am an addict for Stargazer Lillies. Mr. Hedgie is even really good about making sure they aren't all bloomed yet. Makes them last longer. They just smell so strong and so amazing! I seriously adore them! I am also a huge fan of orchids. They are just so pretty! I am too good at killing them though.

Love all the flowers you mentioned, as well as lisianthus. I am a sucker for soft romantic flowers.

I have no idea what they are but they are the colorful ones at the store I see all the time! They are yellow, orange, blue, purple and pink.

I like full blooms like the ones you listed. I also like tulips. Gerbera daisies were my favorite for a long time!

Peonies or tulips! I've never gotten either of those.
@Bao: crazy daisies?

A mix of peonies, ranunculus, orchids, dahlias, and hydrangeas in blush tones. At least that's the mood I'm on now, I adore flowers!

I love flowers! I do have a soft spot for rannuculus since they were so popular in bouquets when I got married. But I'd also love to receive hibiscus, or any tropical flowers. And hyacinth, since the smell is divine. Pink roses are always good too! (My sorority flower.)

DH always gets me Gerber daisies, which I love but I would love some peonies or ranunculus for a change.
Just not roses, never roses.

Tulips and gerbera daisies. Tulips have been my favorite since I was little and gerbera daisies are just so pretty. Love them both!

Gerbera daisies, yellow or orange roses, liliacs, carnations, sunflowers....basically anything bright and cheery and not to "closed off" (ie; lilies and tulips and such).

After I posted my affinity for unbloomed stargazers last night while I was at work, check out what I came home to! They delivered early for mothers day! Unbloomed and the house already smell heavenly.
(Ignore my messy table...)

I will accept all flowers. But I'd love a huge bouquet of cut lilacs. My mom has huge lilac trees and I used to love when they were on bloom; our whole house was scented. Loved it!

Peonies! Also love poppies, ranunculus and hydrangea. It was our 4 year anniversary yesterday and DH got me these. I'm in love.

Ranunculus are beautiful, I grow them in my yard.
@oliviaoblivia: I loooove lilac. The smell makes me swoon. We had a huge lilac bush on the side of our yard growing up and I would love to go into my parent's bedroom in the spring when their windows were open, I could always smell the lilac in their room.
I would love to receive parrot tulips. They're so beautiful before and after they open.

@Mrs. Lovejoy: that is SUCH a beautiful bouquet! So different!

Anything! I love flowers. Bonus points to DH when he gets me the silvery lavendar roses we had in our wedding...I love that he remembers!

@Mrs. Bee: those are 3/4 of my fave flowers, my final favorite flower is garden roses, especially David Austin.

My wedding bouquet, on perpetual rotation. Anemones, ranunculas, garden roses, and sage.
However, in the spring, I'm all about colorful tulips.

@youboots: Those roses are gorgeous!
I love big romantic flowers and carefree wildflowers. But if I were to get a surprise bouquet, I'd especially love the more fragrant varieties: lily of the valley, sweet peas hand-picked lilacs, cream colored roses. But I love me some peonies (especially since I no longer grow them), hydrangea (since I can't seem to grow them), and magnolias. In the past, I would have said delphinium, but thankfully, those grow without fail

I'm all about the soft, romantic looking owildflowers. This was my wedding bouquet, exactly my taste (picked out by our amazing coordinator)

@Mrs. Lovejoy: gorgeous!!!!
Peonies for me too! So hard to find here though.
Our wedding flowers were calla lilies though - so I love getting those too.

Pretty much anything. I drop hints all the damn time to DH but I never get any, I buy them for myself!
Right now I have a vase of lilac stock. I also die for hydrangea, old fashioned fragrant roses, hyacinth, tuberose, gladioli.

@Mrs. Bee: I'm not the best with knowing different types of flowers. I usually just go for whatever is pretty. So I don't have a specific kind I like to receive, which makes it a lot easier for my DH ahha. I like any flowers he gives me!
