DH isn't a fan of spaghetti or any type of hot (or previously hot) fruit, so pies and fruit filled desserts or snacks. He is obsessed with regular fruit though, so that's weird. He is hesitant to try anything that has a weird combination as well.

He is the pickiest person ever. He doesn't like cheese or milk. Who doesn't like cheese?!
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
@Bao: D has the same problem with cooked fruit! He LOVES fresh, raw fruit, but hates it once it's been cooked.
Also, broccoli. With a passion.
And that's pretty much it. Out of the two of us I'm definitely the picky eater.
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
He's not a sweets / desserts. Besides that he will try anything. Except rocky Mountain oysters.
papaya / 10343 posts
He hates milk. He says it grosses him out just to look at it. This also extends to yogurt and cream cheese. But he will put cream in his coffee and he likes whipped cream, so figure that one out.
He also hates American "cheese"-- refuses to eat it because it's "not really food."
I actually can't think of a single other thing he refuses to eat. He definitely has preferences and things he is more or less fond of, but he'll honestly eat almost anything you set in front of him if he's hungry.

@Smurfette: Nope. Nothing with cheese...he will read the ingredients to make sure there isn't cheese. And he's from Chicago!

Hah! I have yet to serve something that the Mr. won't eat! He is honestly the least picky eater I've ever met. Tofu, kale, quinoa, wheat berries, tempeh, you name it, he'll eat it happily. I really hope our future kids inherit his adventurous palate.
The one thing he does is SMOTHER everything with insane amounts of hot sauce. I can't eat things at the spice level he loves, so I spice things for me, and then he adds to it.

He doesn't like fruit except for red delicious apples. He says everything else is too tart? Even berries. Weird Also, cilantro.
eggplant / 11716 posts
He doesn't like mushrooms. Or peanut butter. Doesn't like chocolate+ peanut butter either, weirdo. Lol
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
Doesn't like beans and fruit, but he'll eat them if you put them in front of him.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Vegetables and especially not bean sprouts!! He's like a lil kid.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes (cold, in sandwiches), kimchi.....quinoa....sweet potatoes...brussel sprouts, cabbage...beets....tofu....
pomegranate / 3779 posts
Olives, cheesy or creamy veggies/starches like Mac n cheese or broccoli with hollandaise, any leftovers that been in the fridge more than 2-3 days. He threw away all my mayo and mustard while we were dating because it had been there a month!
coconut / 8861 posts
Pickles, most desserts, coconut, pineapple. I tend to eat these anyway regardless of his dislikes, more for me.
bananas / 9899 posts
Man... DH likes basically everything lol! The only thing he doesn't like are soups or stews... for some weird reason. He just doesn't like wet foods, I guess?
coconut / 8861 posts
@stine_ciro: I throw away leftovers that are over a week old. DH will still eat them, but I won't.
pomegranate / 3053 posts
Mushrooms and ginger. He used to not eat spicy but I got him into it and he's okay now.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
DH is so picky, he doesn't like to eat any Asian food (Chinese, Thai, Japenese), he doesn't like veggies (besides potatoes and green beans), and freaks out when I try to get him to try new things.
pomegranate / 3779 posts
@cascademom: I agree with the week old leftovers, but he won't eat them 2days after I cooked.
nectarine / 2765 posts
veggies (especially if cooked, he can stomach/tolerate some if raw), mushrooms, he's also not a big fan of casserole-like dishes which is a shame since I love them.
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
He does not like blue cheese - he can handle it in small amounts but he's not into ordering a cheese plate and devouring the blue cheese like I am
He does not like kimchee which just kills me bc I'm Korean and I just love it. He likes most Asian foods but does not like most Korean foods (like the ban-chan or even jap-chae or the soups)
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
He isn't super picky which is great for me. I can pretty much fix anything and guarantee he will like it. His least favorite meal I make, though, is spaghetti. It's just not his favorite but at least he'll still eat it.
pomelo / 5820 posts
@lawbee11: blasphemy!
He eats pretty much anything! I can't think of anything he avoids.
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
DH is a foodie, so there's not much he won't eat. The only thing he'd rather not have is spaghetti, but that's only because his mom cooked it so much as a kid.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@BabyBoecksMom: This is exactly why DH doesn't like spaghetti!
papaya / 10473 posts
Mushrooms, pot roast, olives, and a category of food where he takes a bite, makes a face, and says "that's very 'you'." to me lol. This usually includes quinoa, tabbouleh, pasta salads, anything vegan or vegetarian.
coconut / 8475 posts
everything. He is extremely picky. He basically ONLY eats meat & seafood.
Sometimes he'll do a side of potatoes and/or rice and/o pasta but usually its just meat.
He only likes chocolaty desserts and citrus drinks (orange juice, sprite...)
persimmon / 1141 posts
he doesn't like most seafood, just shrimp. he won't touch sashimi but likes sushi. confusing boy.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
I can't think of a single food he doesn't like.
Oh wait. Raw mushrooms.
pomelo / 5720 posts
DH is very picky and also rarely likes to try new things. He dislikes most things that are mixed together like soups, casseroles and chili. He's a pretty basic meat and potatoes guy.
