Charlie gets a daily multivitamin and probiotic.
Olive gets vit d and probiotic, but i want to get her on a multivitamin too.
I am thinking about adding fish oil as well to their regimen.
Do you give any vitamins to your LO?

We don't do vitamins. We used to do vit d since she was breastfed but stopped once she switched to whole milk. LO is a pretty good eater and I don't know if she needs them.
@Mrs. Bee: Did your doc recommend them or are you motivated by their pickiness? Just curious...

@MamaCate: not our doc but hoping to treat constipation and its good for you so why not.

DD gets a flintstone with iron. So far I haven't started DS on anything...

We like Nature's Plus Animal Parade. Our ped okay'ed half a multivitamin at 18 months. Our other ped said it was okay for our older toddler a few days a week, especially when she's a picky eater.
We tried a fish oil vitamin in the past and it tasted gross, even though the reviews swore they were good. Still on the hunt for another brand.

@Mrs. Bee: what brand probiotics do you give/recommend? Also, how old was olive when you first started giving it to her? My LO suffers from constipation after switching to whole milk...

I don't do a multivitamin because they eat pretty well, but we do cod liver oil and vitamin D (in the winter) in our smoothies.

@Mrs. Lantern: @MamaCate: @Mrs. Bee: @Mrs. Superhero: what brand of vit D do you all use?
nectarine / 2085 posts
No, we even skipped vitamin D because we live in a sunny spot (although I would have done it if I hadn't been able to give LO 'sunshine time' nearly every day as an infant).

We use D Vi Sol drops. I will likely start her on a probiotic eventually but the ped told us not to do so until she was at least six months.

@Mrs. Popcorn: we use the di-vi-sol drops that i think are made my enfamil. we got them at target or on amazon when target was out. they last about 6 weeks a bottle.

@enjollah: we use metagenics but it's only available through nutritionists i think. i started early because i got mastitis and had to take probiotics, so i started giving them to olive when she was 2 months?

@Mrs. Popcorn: carlson's baby drops. way better than poly/trivisol.

We give him a daily gummy multivitamin. I like the probiotic idea! Which one do you give Charlie?

My DD gets vitamin D supplements and my son is getting a DHA supplement. I feed him kefir every day for the probiotics.
