I bought a wacky fuzzy chicken. Jellycat makes the eat stuffed animals. Then I found an owl, then a pig. I think they are more for me than LO. I also bought some glass bottles early on that were on sale.

A tiny, wooden bracelet (meditation beads) and a silk envelope to hold it in. I bought it while I was on a hike at Hwaeomsa, an old Buddhist temple in South Korea. It was when I realized I wanted children afterall This was before we even moved in together, 2.5 years before we got married.

A pair of OshKosh overalls. DH and I both wore overalls a lot as kids, and I think overalls are incredibly adorable and bought a pair when we were browsing at the store.
Actually that's not totally true, the very first things were two oneises, one for grandma and one for grandpa that I wrapped and gave to them to open before they knew we were expecting. This was one week after we found out. But the overalls were the first things we really bought for DS I guess, since the onesies were more to reveal to my inlaws.

@Coco Bee: um...open an etsy shop! I'll be your #1 customer!
I don't remember the first thing I bought because I started WAY before getting pregnant haha....But, after finding out the gender, me and DH went out and got a BLUE baby bathtub. I remember that much.

@PrincessBaby: I love those! I bought a pair for my LO and they were too narrow for her fat feet!

@autumnlove: Awwwww!!! I love a fat baby foot!!!! I am worried these are too long for H to be able to wear. And she'd really only be able to use them sometimes in Dec & Jan, but they look long and skinny for a baby foot! So these might end up going back to zappos (love a 1yr return policy) and we'll have to wait until next year:(. The size chart says they fit 0-6 months but I'm not buying it!
