Potty training time. Just a pain. Right now they're both easy since one is almost 7 and the other is just a baby.

14 months old or so was tough. We didn't buy him a seat, so he kept launching himself between DH and I the whole time. He wanted to walk and talk everywhere. Those were a tough set of flights. I'm thinking for our next jaunt to the South, he'll get his own seat with a car seat or with a child harness and an Ipad with Daniel Tiger.

For us, 6 months was the hardest so far! Dd was super over stimulated by the lights and noises on the plane and didn't like being cooped up. We flew again at 14, 16 and 18 months and she was perfect. She seemed to have a better understanding of the space and has *just enough* stranger anxiety to not want to go running up and down the aisle. That said - I'm still nursing! I'm super curious to hear how Olive does without nursing since we're hoping to go on a very long flight this winter and we're also hoping to be weaned by then ...

I would say probably between one and 1.5 because you have mobility but no ability or inclination to listen to reason or even respond to bribery

I'm scared to fly next week. 4 hour direct flight to California. LO is 16 months. So far 1 years old was the hardest. When he was under 9 months we flew a hand of times and he usually slept.
