My high was spending some quality time with my beautiful son. It never gets old. My low was hubby coming home this evening not feeling well.

@Mrs. Bee: This year alone he has killed like 12 snakes. It is so gross! The one he found today though was from my moms garden so that is good. My poor mom loves gardening and finds snakes all the time and gets so scared. I guess cats are a little useful lol

@anonysquire: they are useful! my cat (we had to put her to sleep last fall
) killed so many snakes when we lived in california and mice when we lived in ny! new york has a lot of mice but once my cat killed a few, they never came back.

That is great that they never came back! They are building a middle school in the feild accross from my house so all the mice and snakes come here -

High: Telling some colleagues about my pregnancy (had only told my immediate coworkers until today).
Low: When a colleague thought she would make a "joke" about my pregnancy-induced acne, which caused me to burst into tears in the middle of the office. -
high: we did a photoshoot with my lo and the hubs and im really happy with how the pictures came out.we needed some pictures of the three of us since we dont have hardly any!
low: stressing over bills

High: DD fell asleep on her own for the first time
Low: Realizing I didn't know what day it was - I thought it was Monday! -
High: woke up in an awesome mood
Low: crying on my way home from work about my grandmothers failing health -
High: Coming home to see my LO (who had been crying right before I got in) give me the biggest smile ever.
Low: 9:20 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. aka Work. It's hard to go through the motions at this miserable miserable place.

High- DH and FIL finished putting up the new backsplash in our kitchen, next up grout.
Low- Prettybaby was a pill at our swim class today, I think her teeth hurt.

High: Still super happy from my DH surprising me with an early anniversary trip this past weekend
Low: finding out the CRA has over $2K of mine in a GST/HST account since 2010 and no one bothered to inform me I have a credit owing.

high- LO was in a great funny mood all day and we did lots of errands with no meltdown.
low- One of my errands was a bust (getting a gift for a bday party) and I have to go back tomorrow morning to get something.

High: laughing, I've done my fair share of laughing today (some more appropriate than others)
Low: DH having his eye ball clawed by his student & having to go to the hospital to get him. I had to spoon feed him dinner & just put him to bed. I'm waiting up another hour so I can give him more meds before I go to sleep.

High: saved almost $13 at Kroger without even trying
Low: learned some people are not acting like they appear to be

High: DH had the day off and all of us needed it!
Low: I forgot to pay a bill last month AND this month...wth? What is wrong with my memory lately?! -

High: falling asleep on the acupuncture table, piping hot bath to relax my muscles
Low: work, so busy right now; forgot to get meat out to defrost -

High: I made one of my favorite recipes for dinner and it was yummy. (This is a fairly pathetic "high"!)
Low: I got all ready to go to the grocery store for some salad to go with dinner and my car wouldn't start. And, it's actually my husband's car, because my car died a week ago and we're not taking it to the mechanic until Friday. Grrr.
