Mine was seeing R walk so much more. I still get surprised when I look up and she is walking towards me.

We went to the aquarium yesterday and N loved it! He was fascinated by all the fish and other animals swimming by. We bought an annual pass!

I can't really pick one highlight, we had a great relaxed weekend! I guess just hanging out with my DH on our date.

DH worked all weekend so it was a girls weekend! The best part was spending time with a well rested LO. She didn't nap at daycare all week and was a crankpants.....then she slept 14 hrs straight Friday night. She is so fun when she's got energy...(and then she took a 3 hour nap today which helped me get ready for the week!) I love that little bugger.

Today DH, C, and I went to brunch with friends, and afterwards all three of us had an awesome nap.

We had such a great mostly-unscheduled weekend. My fav was probably my husband getting up to go get me breakfast in bed, then us just hanging out in bed until like 1pm Saturday. I am extremely conscious of the fact that our opportunity to do stuff like that is rapidly coming to a close soon! lol

LO has been sick all weekend but it snowed Saturday night and we let her go out and play today and she absolutely loved it

The 3 of us went out of town as DH had a crossfit competition. Highlight was DH doing very well, I was so proud of him! B was beautifully behaved and didn't fuss at all and we were at the gym for over 8 hours. I was proud of her too!

That my husband is still off tomorrow and we have NOTHING planned!
Also seeing C interact with my parents and brother when we spent the day together today, so great to see them build a great relationship!

Parenting related: taking M to one of those indoor bounce house places and seeing how much she loved it!
Non parenting related: hanging out with our daycare friends Saturday night and playing beer pong and cards against humanity and generally acting like we were in college.

Highlight was definitely bringing home our baby from the hospital Friday afternoon! We were in the hospital from Monday night through Friday and it was SO NICE to sleep in our own bed without vitals being checked or nurses coming in all the time. Plus, just enjoying our baby girl snuggles.

@MamaMoose: I wish we had day care friends. Only one Dad has been really friendly. I will be glad when R moves up and is with his twins again! And acting like in college sounds fun! Till you have to get up with LO.

@Smurfette: yeah this morning was BRUTAL. We were just sort of cordial with these two couples for a long time and decided to go out on a limb and invite them to M's birthday party and see how it went. I'm so glad we did because we all get along SO well. We did New Year's Eve together and have basically hung out every other weekend since then. It's awesome. So don't give up hope yet!

DH let me sleep in yesterday and B slept in until 7:30 this morning. Oh, and I got a nap. I really needed the sleep!

Spending time with family! Went to a great 2nd birthday party for my cousin yesterday. That's tied for highlight with this morming's amazing breakfast out at a local deli with S and my SO.

This was the best weekend in a long time. But I think my favorite part, besides all the fun activities, was just getting so much one on one time with him. And him blowing raspberries and laughing and wrapping his arms around my neck. He is such a sweet little man these days!

H has really started to get vocal and "talk" to us this weekend! It's so fun to have conversations with her, even though it's mostly just screeching.
On the home front, I successfully stripped my diapers with vinegar tonight and scored a used Bumbleride stroller!

We had such a great weekend!
My highlight with LO was watching her swing at the park for the first time yesterday. She loved it and smiled/giggled the entire time. We went back today with my parents and they loved watching her swing
My highlight without LO was game night last night with @leialou and her DH. Now that M isn't waking up at 11 to nurse I can drink more than one glass of wine!

My sister was in transit here for one night so I got to spend some time with her for the first time in 20 months! She is also an OBGYN so she checked me out herself which was nice!
