5 days. He was going every 4 days pretty regularly until we introduced Neosure about a week ago.

He went 5 days a couple of times. The pediatrician said it was fine...

As a newborn? Like, ours. If she didn't go in a day it was a remarkable occasion.
At 6.5 months, we just had our first experience where it took a while-- Monday to Thursday. And let me tell you, it was gross. That's all.

He would generally poop once a week... it was amazing! Once I realized it was just what he did, I really appreciated it.

@Beehive: @Weagle: @mrsbookworm: weird question, when your LO went awhile between poops, were his or her farts particularly smelly?
DS#2 is on day 5 with no poops, he's 7 weeks tomorrow, and his farts are very smelly. I'm trying not to worry, but DS#2 did the same thing and it ultimately meant he wasn't getting enough breastmilk (he went to FFing by 3 months because he was about to be labelled failure to thrive)

@MamaBehr: hmm... I don't really remember them being smelly. But I never really thought her poop was smelly at that point either. At some point, babies become really efficient processors of breast milk and therefore they just don't produce as much waste - hence the no pooping. I do think that typically happens later than 7 weeks, though. If he seems uncomfortable, maybe just call/email the pediatrician. I would at that age and with your second son's history.

As a newborn, several times a day but once he was 4/5 months there was a period where he went 2 weeks!

Daily, usually a few times a day (middle of the night, first wake up, after first nap, and late afternoon). DS1 was also a daily pooper.

@MamaBehr: I don't remember anything like that. What made me stop worrying is that the consistency of the "output", when he did end up going, was "correct" each time - so that may be a good test for you when he does go.

At around 8 weeks old, my DD didn't poo for about 2 1/2 days. When she finally went, it was...like nothing I have ever seen or imagined before. Over the past couple weeks, she's gone either every day or every other day. We just had her 2-month checkup and her ped said it's fine and up to a week is normal for some babies.
DD is very farty, and I do think they are stinky. I'm not worried about her poos but I'm trying to figure out if we can do something to help with the gas -- I avoid veggies in the cabbage family, but I'm not sure what else to avoid. I don't think she is MSPI because she seems fine other than the gas, but I have cut out most dairy, too, though I don't think it made much difference. I might call her ped to ask about probiotics as a next step.

He has almost always gone multiple times a day, every day. even now at almost 16 months. As a newborn, pretty much every diaper was a poop!

12 days. For the first.. I dunno, 5 weeks? She would go basically ever day. Then just one day she stopped and she because a once a weeker at most. Once she started solids was when she went the 12 days. The Dr said it's not a problem unless her stools become hard. They do get very hard now and I often have to stimulate her to have a BM.
As long as the stools are soft, and there isn't any blood in them it's not a problem if they don't go often. My dr said once they start solids it can take up to 6 weeks for the bowels to regulate, so hopefully that happens for us soon

She pooped every time she ate, literally. She started to slow down with the poops around 6 months and at most, went one day without pooping around that time.

We had a streak where it was about every 2-3 days. Last couple of days it has been multiple times a day.

I think there was once that he went 3 days, but he's usually pretty regular.

As a newborn, anything less than every other diaper change it was remarkable. She was going at least 4 times a day every day up until 6 months when she started solids. Now she goes every day between 11am-1pm, and I think once she didn't poop one day, and it was really weird. I kept checking all day long.

5 days when he was 4 months old. Pedi wasn't concerned about it bc he said he's probably absorbing everything so there's very little to poop out.

DS is still a giant pooper at 15 months. We're still usually 2-3x a day. It's awesome.

9 Days. I'm not sure why - maybe the 8 hour car trip (with breaks) we'd had just before? Either way the watered down pear and sweet potato puree got my 4mo going again.

CJ is regularly around 11 days. His farts do get smellier the couple of days before D Day. All medical professionals have said that as long as he's gaining weight, wetting lots of nappies (boy, does he ever!) and that consistency is soft and mustardy then that is just his normal.
