My favorite was D.A.R.Y.L. which is about a boy who is part robot! LOL! My brother and I watched it over and over and over again!
What was your favorite movie when you were younger?

Aladdin - my sister and I watched the VHS tape so much that we wore that thing down! I still know the entire dialogue of the entire movie. Also - sound of music, which is still in my top 5.

@chibee: Aladdin was my favorite to! I remember going to school 1/2 days in k-5, coming home in the afternoon, I would eat lunch and watch aladdin, and then fall asleep! Every day for months on end!

@MrsBrewer I still try to catch it every time they show it on ABC Family! And the genie, even after something like 16-17 years, still cracks me up!

Probably "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" or "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure". I never let anyone watch them with me if they are on TV because I can recite both movies verbatim and it's really annoying :).

The Last Unicorn. Not sure why my parents never bought me the VHS, because I rented it from the video store every time we went :). I also loved Flight of the Navigator.

@JessLC: I was JUST talking about The Princess Bride. It's one of those movies that if it's on tv, I will stop to watch it and won't turn it off. One of my all-time favorites. But I didn't watch it much as a kid, so I didn't include it here.
@Chibee: That's how my sister and I were with Little Mermaid. We wore out the VHS (we had an original, with the perverted picture on the front!) and I can still recite it, word for word, to this day.

@chibee: The Little Mermaid VHS was initially released with a very phallic-looking "spire" on the castle. They eventually changed it for laser-disc (laser-disc!!!!) releases and then I'm pretty sure later VHS and obviously DVD releases also had the altered cover. http://www.snopes.com/disney/films/mermaid.asp

@Adira: @eiko2010: I still absolutely love this movie too! I still recite lines from it as well.... would anyone like a peanut?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@JessLC: @eiko2010: hahaha, I'm always saying stuff like "I don't think that means what you think it means" or "I only dog paddle."

@Adira: @JessLC: Ahh ha ha ha! Me, too! My sister and I always say "Anybody want a peanut?" I refer to ROUSes more than what would be considered natural. And everything is INCONCEIVABLE!
