R loves loves to eat my hair. I will be sitting on the floor playing with her and she cruises around me and bites down on my hair and pulls it out with her teeth from try pony tail. Or she finds my pony tail and puts the whole thing in her mouth. Weirdo

I think it's way cute and not weird, but the past week or two when E is running into our arms he'll close his eyes to run!

She screams like a pterodactyl, when excited. She also likes to put burp cloths, diapers, blankets, and toys over her face. She then proceededs to breathe really rapidly and fake discomfort so I'll rip them off her face, just so she can laugh, like mad. A new one is that she attempts to eat my toes when we play on the carpet, together. Ew, kid.

He likes to crawl between our legs, and crawl into the smallest possible spaces (inside boxes, drawers, cabinets, under furniture, Eric).

@Pepper: R grabs our faces too when getting her bottle. Luckily she has grown out of the let me put my finger up Mom/Dad's nose phase.

Both girls have liked to play the, "moving the dead pig," game. They take toy tractors or bobcats and put animals in the scoop (usually it's pigs, but we like to mix things up so there have been okapi, bears, elephant calves...) and then designate a dumping ground and dump them there. Lorelei is pretty convinced that anything that gets lost, or that we can't see anymore goes to Redwood Falls where the rendering plant is. HA! We are an ultra morbid household, perhaps.

When lo gets excited he makes the grunting noise that Forrest Gump made while he was sitting on the front porch and his mom was inside with the principal.

@Mrs. Polish: Yes. The ducks and geese don't go south for the winter; they go to Redwood Falls. To be rendered. The Great Lorelei has spoken. It's hilarious because she totally won't hear me when I tell her that's not where they go. I'll have to see if I can get a video of it 'cause it's pretty funny.

In order to soothe herself to sleep she--for lack of a better word-- humps the mattress and bangs her head against the side of the crib. It is the most hysterical thing ever!
@deerylou: My LO totally does the whole 'let me cover my face and pretend I'm dying' thing!

She always touches or rubs the wall when I put her on the changing table. Does anyone else's LO do this?? It's so weird. Then as soon as I start changing her and she sees her feet she moves onto grabbing those.

She steps on everything... It's like her seal of approval. She loves veggies. She bites the faces of her dolls/stuffed animals.

When he was an infant he latched and sucked on my chin. It was crazy.
But now (2 1/2 years old) he wants to hold my breast. He asks for bah boo (his word for breast) all the time. It is a comfort but I weaned him (only 8 months ago) to get my body back!

My LO loves to snap my bra between my boobs while she nurses.

Kiss me on my mouth. LOL. Today I held him up and about to change his diaper and he kept hugging me and kissing me on my mouth. it is super sweet and cracks me up but do toddlers (23 months) really do that?? And where does he learn that from??

@deerylou: Your LO sounds a who lot like my LO. Her birthday was pink dinosaur themed because she shrieks like a pterodactyl. And I have a pic of her chewing on my foot. Now she's in the big wet, open mouthed kisses phase. It's interesting.

LO likes to rub daddy's chin, pinch his nose, and sometimes accidentally will put her little fingers in his nostrils while doing so. She only does that to daddy though not to me.

DD loves to quack very loudly like a duck. She will do it anywhere she sees any form of a duck. One day while at the grocery store my husband pointed out a sweet potato that looked like a duck. Now, every time we pass the sweet potatoes in the store, she starts quacking loudly. We usually get plenty of stares and funny looks.

@deerylou: Hahaha!! That's so hilarious!! We get the pterodactyl scream too - I copy it and she laughs like a drain!!
Recently, she has started doing this weird head bobbing thing. When she is standing your legs looking at you, she leans her head to one side and then juts her chin out and smiles. It's really bizzare!
