we have a gal (26) staying with us for the summer while she completes an internship. she's finishing up her degree in the fall because she got pregnant with her son at 19 and never went away to school as she planned. she is doing all this cool stuff now and having her son really focused her. i was commenting that my sister (26) went to a college nearby where she was supposed to go and is now off traveling around the country/world before she goes to grad school after living with my parents and working random odd jobs (basically bumming around!).

it got me thinking about the different things myself and friends of mine were doing at 26 and how it was such a weird time in life. some people i knew were married with kids, some divorced, some in school, some running their own businesses, some partying, etc, etc.

i was working at an office as well as growing my business. i also got married at 26! DH was changing his career focus and enrolling in classes for that.
