This time last year Olive was 2 1/2 months old. I worried about her a lot in the early months because she was born 5 weeks early, had jaundice, seemed extremely sleepy (though to this day she is a sleepier than average child), and seemed to be hitting developmental milestones a little on the slow side.
Charlie had just turned 2 and was still the sweetest little boy.
Life is better this year than last. Our lives are so full!

I was 27 weeks pregnant and miserable.. Now my baby girl will be 9 months old in a few days.
2012 has been a great year. I was someone who never wanted to be pregnant and had a meltdown when that test turned up positive. Being a mother has been an absolutely humbling and rewarding experience, much more than I ever expected it to be.

I was watching my husband sleeping on the couch and thinking we were incredibly lame. Then I went outside and listened to the fireworks.

We were at a cabin in the mountains with friends, awesome steak dinner, fireworks, drinks and hot tub. It was great!

We were celebrating the new year with the same friends we celebrated with for 5 years running... until we ruined it this year! Haha. We have a good excuse.

DH and I were in Paris for our honeymoon! We watched the Eiffel Tower light up from our hotel balcony and drank lots of champagne

I was recovering from having my wisdom teeth out the day before. We had a house full of kids, including Maddy who was almost 2.5 months old. It was most certainly a not so fun night, memorable but not fun!

I honestly don't remember how lame is that!! I'm blaming it on postpartum brain.. But we're not big partiers anyways. I think we were at my folks house probably playing games

LO was a baby and we went to a new years party at my mom's house. She slept so nicely through the whole thing.
This year we went to a party at a family friends house and she's obviously more aware of everything so she freaked out before I even put her near the pack n play.... she was eyeing it with a worried look the whole time we were getting her ready for bed. We just left, there was a baby in the next room already sleeping and we didn't want to wake that baby up.

Hoping and praying after 15 months of TTC that I'd be getting a BFP... And I got it on 1/27! And now I'm cuddling my sweet baby girl! 2012 was great, 2013 is going to be even better!

I think I was about 6 weeks prego but had no idea and was playing monopoly with DH and drinking prosecco!

Hanging out with my kids and husband. Same as this year. I am always amazed how quickly a year goes a f how much my kids change in that time.

My dad, DS, and I were driving from Kansas to Georgia. DH returned home from Afghanistan on the 29th and we drove up to welcome him home. DH had no idea we were coming! It was wonderful!!

DH and I were in Maui. I was hoping to get pregnant while there. It didn't happen then but the next month we got lucky.

I was newly pregnant, praying I wouldn't have another MC even though we had our first ultrasound on the 30th, and just starting to feel crappy. I didn't feel up to a party so DH surprised me with tickets to Hairspray at a local theatre and then we stayed the night at his aunt's cabin on the Cheseapeake Bay.

Last year DH and I went to an " east coast nye" at our friends house and then drank a ton of wine at our house with our neighbors. Feel like crap the next day!

I was 38 weeks and trying to walk the baby out! We went to see lights at the botanical garden, and I was having BH contractions like crazy. But no baby for another week!

Off topic: how long did Olive have to stay in the hospital before you could bring her home? I have a friend who just had her
Baby 6 weeks early! It looks do rough

I wasnt pregant, my Brother and SIL and nephew still lived up here by me. We didnt know about DH having to go to Afghanistan yet so we were planning on trying the coming year (check that box lol)

We were less than three months away from our wedding and were in full organising mode. We had also put an offer in on our house and were in the process of doing all the legal stuff which comes with buying a house. It was an exciting but stressful time.

@sweetchic: I love going to Taiwan too! I wish I had been brave enough early in the pregnancy to book a trip this year. My gma and aunt leave today and I thought I'd be much bigger now than I am.
Honestly? Last year this time we were recovering from 2 days of crazy NYE partying! We also started TTC in Jan. First cycle and I was just learning all the crazy acronyms, about EWCM, temping, etc.
