I'm trying to get a list together for the library tomorrow, because browsing overwhelms me. What are/were your 1.5 year old's favorite books or series of books?

He was/still is obsessed with Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs! Any lift-the-flap books too.

My 18 mo DD *loves* any book you sing - "You Are My Sunshine," "Hush Little Baby," etc.

Anything about trucks. For reals. Mommy is pretty much over it, but that's all he really reads.
He does do Curious George books on occasion.
He'll still read some of his old favorites, but any new books I buy that aren't about trucks? No dice.

Eric Litwin's Pete the Cat series, Mr Brown by Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle's Brown Bear and Sandra Boynton books!
ETA. We also read a lot of Mem Fox, Giles Andreae and Julia Donaldson books!

She loves Sandra Boyton books, I sing them and she laughs and laughs at them. Her favorite right now is Barnyard Dance, she's also a fan of Go to Bed & Birthday Monsters.
Also still a fan of touch and feel books and flap books (although she can be a little rough on these!)

Yeah, we can't get lift the flap or popup books from the library, for fear he will destroy them when we're not looking...

Current faves are: Mister Seahorse by Eric Carle, Fuzzy Duckling, and My Truck is Stuck. Have you gotten Click Clack Moo yet?

L loves The Foot Book the most, and most Dr. Seuss books. I think she really just loves Momma's crazy reading voice
She also loves Sandra Boynton and Eric Carle books. I think she likes the cute animals from Boynton books, and the pretty artwork from Carle books. -
@allison: anything pigeon by mo willems, anything "llama llama" (red pajama is my fav), and image appropriately, the I-spy books.

Little Blue Truck! Also huge fans of Pete the Cat. Don't Let the Pigeon Drive The Bus is also a current favorite.
