B turns 7 in a few weeks, and is super high energy and physical. The biggest hits for him were rollerblades and a kid’s Fitbit - on multiple occasions I’ve woken up at 6am to find him standing beside the bed saying “Mom. How many steps do you have?”

W, 4.5, is easier to buy for but it’s tougher to say what was his favourite. He also got a plasma car that he really loved until we realized it was scratching up our hardwood floors and it had to become an outdoor toy. Hoot Owl Hoot was also a big hit, and this tiny little stuff dog that I got at the drug store for $4.

DD (21 months): stuffed dog, push/ride on Minnie Mouse car toy, and Little People house and farm.

DS is 5 and his favorite gifts were a bluTrack matchbox car track and LEGO sets. He also got the zombie kids game and has been enjoying playing that with us

I have 2 DDs, one is about to turn 4 and the other is 16 months.

The biggest hit for them both was a KidKraft play kitchen. It’s the farm to table one that has little garden boxes with veggies, a chalkboard, and the sink and stove have LED lights and make fun noises.

Otherwise DD2 really likes the Little People Farm and Little People Bus, and her Poke a Dot Book. DD1 is obsessed with her kids digital camera.

DS1 (5.5) - Super Mario LEGO starter course and a couple of expansion packs. Plays with it ALL day. Minecraft LEGO are also getting a lot of play.

DS2 (almost 3) - kinetic sand, especially one where you dig to find dinosaur bones

DS3 (1.5) - Magic Tracks car set

His favorite was the (very) large stuffed giraffe Santa brought. He sleeps with it in his bed. 🤣

@2littlepumpkins: How old are your kids and what games? We struggle with finding ones that will appeal to our guys.

DD (8) - The last 4 land of stories books she didn’t have, she’s read over 1,000 pages since Christmas!

DS (6) - alll the Legos, and a matchbox hauling police truck

DS (2) - a pretend hair / shaving kit and magnatile car pieces.

We also made up a basket of games for the older two and they’ve been loving that - Sleeping Queens, Scattegories cards, tenzi and phase 10.

One of our family gifts this year was a vintage nintendo which is DS's (6) favorite gift. And it's cute to watch him and DH play together the same games DH played as a kid.
His other hits were his smart kids watch and Hess truck.

DD is so tough because she doesn't seem to play with any one thing regularly. She loved her twin babies though and a blanket with her name on it.

DS (2) - Loved his balance bike, he rode it around the house all Christmas morning. And the small drill that my in laws bought him. Note that it is not a toy drill but an actual tool. We don't let him have the bits and he runs around pretending to fix things.

DS (5.5) - He was most excited about the Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage which is even bigger than I had anticipated.

These are so great!

DD (6) loved almost everything she got this year, but she says her favorite is a Melissa and Doug doctor kit, which was definitely not what I was expecting! She plays with it daily, her millions of stuffies have all had injuries lately

@Chuckles: I bet your DD would love the Poke a Dot books. It keeps my 16 month old interested for ages (so like 10 mins in real time, but that’s ages in toddler world.)

dh and I were just saying we shouldn't bother buying our girls (3.5 and 6.5) anything besides hatchimals and other tiny plastic figure type toys
