-I will introduce a bottle more often so leaving LO at a younger age isn't as much of an issue.
-Not grab LO at every peep and whimper.
-Keep LO in our room longer, I felt pressured to move DD to her room earlier than I wanted.
-Not stock up on jar food! DD ate jarred purees for maybe 4 weeks and I had to donate almost 100 jars...oops 
We may just go straight to BLW next time
-Encourage more tummy time.

baby wear more (find a carrier that doesnt kill my back!)
educate myself on breastfeeding with low supply and surround myself with resources before the baby gets here so im more prepared. hopefully i will be successful with bf both my babes then!

*Not be SO determined to ONLY BF. I feel like I cheated DH out of a lot of opportunity to feed her when she was little. He loved giving her bottles, but I had such bad PPA and PPD that I didnt want to give her a bottle
*going off of that, stay on top of my possible PPD better
*Not nurse/rock the baby to sleep. Liv is almost 2 and im struggling to get her off the boob at bedtime (just comfort, there is no more milk) and she wont go to sleep without me or DH in there with her, then we sneak out.
*probably put the new baby in daycare from the get-go (rather than a nanny) bc we love how Liv is thriving in hers.
*be more laid back about getting out without the baby. I didnt do that (see PPD above) until Liv was like a year old and it took a toll....

I will try to have DH do bedtime more. Now I'm pretty much the sole bed time person!

-Try to get on a (very loose) schedule earlier.
-Have them nap in the crib more at the beginning (with some sweet snuggly naps in between).
-Not bounce them to sleep. Weaning DS from going to sleep by bouncing at 5 months was a huge pain and totally unnecessary.

-Give the baby more opportunities to fall asleep on his/her own.
-Be less scared to venture out on my own with the baby. I hardly left the house on my own the first 5 months.

From DS1 to DS2, what I did differently - not stock up on so much baby gear. Bottles, cradle, bumbo, boppy, crib, etc.. We never used any of it. What we had left from DS1 was just shoved in closets until we got rid of it. We have DS2 a crib, but it's a toddler bed and he naps in it a few times a week. I didn't change how we did things from DS1 to DS2 though, I just do what feels right.

Also babywear more...I was determined to get as much use out of our bassinet as possible, but I wish I had gotten to use our moby more when he was teeny.
And buy fewer clothes! LO has so many, it's kind of out of control.

I will not attend to their ever wimper/sound so much. I am pretty sure I nursed DD at every little noise she made in the beginning which was totally unnecessary, but i was so worried about her waking up starving and crying that i thought i was doing a good job by taking preemptive measures, which was great for my supply but bad for baby's sleep habits!
I will also not stress so much about every little detail of the nursery/design and feel the need to buy every little thing! we have wayyy too much stuff and so much of it is unused.
I will not stress as much about everything and feel the need to google every little thing!

@mrskc: I was thinking the same thing, we didn't go anywhere but the pediatrician's office until he was 3.5 months when I realized he needed to be in the carseat more often if he was going to get over his hatred of it! But of course, with LO #2 it'll probably be harder to get out anyways
I'm the opposite.. I'd let LO sleep on me more!! He has been in the crib since day 1 and still went through a phase somewhere around 3 months where he'd only nap on us. Now I wish I'd enjoyed more sweet newborn snuggles
I would also introduce the swing earlier.
And I wouldn't have a single piece of clothing that goes over LO's head until he/she is out of the newborn stage

@scg00387: I was thinking that when I wrote it. It's probably even harder with 2! But I would still like to make more of an effort. I've found that the more I got out, the easier it became. I will also not stress so much with a baby crying in the car seat. This was the main reason we never went anywhere. He cried the whole time in his seat.

@mrskc: Yep we were the same way! I was so bitter that he didn't snooze in the seat like everyone said he would. Then we were coming up on a road trip so I decided to take him out every single day and he got over it, mostly, and I realized that I am much happier when we get out every single day! The convertible car seat made a big difference too, so I'll probably switch to that earlier with the next one too.
