Or will you not get them anything at all? We aren't big into Valentine's day but I thought it would be fun to get her a small treat and a board book or something.

Ahh. I remember little somethings like that from my parents for Vday and it meant so much to me!

We have a "If you give a mouse" Valentine's Day board book for him. I also got a "single and loving it" onesie for the day.

A "love" related board book and pajamas. They'll be from my husband, as my dad always coined himself as my valentine until I started developing crushes on peers at school. We'll continue the tradition.

I'm sure I will do something small. My mom always did for us and I loved it! It was mostly candy

Nothing! For us, valentines day is a grown up holiday. Except for when they are in school and make cards - that is adorable!

Nada-- just hugs and kisses like @cmomma17:!
We'll do heart-shaped food next year... she doesn't even understand Christmas yet, so she won't get V-Day at all.

Mylar balloon! My LOs are obsessed with them every time we go to the grocery store and they last forever!

@deerylou: Aww, love this idea. I remember getting valentines gifts from my dad when I was in elem school. I'm gonna suggest this to my husband!

I've decided to give her the gift of me coming home for a full year off work
Honestly though, not much. I'm sure her daddy will get her something silly like a book or stuffed animal.

Haven't thought about it but this is a good reminder. I'd like to get her a little something, maybe a Cookie Monster doll because she's obsessed with him.

We will give him something small probably like a book and a small toy.

Ummm- haven't even thought of it! Probably something practical like a breathable crib bumper (poor little guys legs keep getting caught in his crib bars!)

I'm putting together little bags of heart shape crazy straws, coloring books, some m&m's and books. Nothing big but I love Valentines day so I did want to give them a little something.

A hug?! I'm not really into V-day, but I LOVE these onsies, so I'm thinking of buying or making some (minus the pink).

I'll get a card and maybe a small thing like a pack of Little People or a book. My mom was at Carter's today buying M clothes for a V-Day gift

We're going to make something for daddy at a craft workshop. I bought her a cute heart outfit to wear that day.

@Sparkler: me too! Our $ store has them so even better! I also put out the V-Day placemats and cups - so not so much a "gift" but special decorations

@ Mrs. Blue - those are so cute!
Probably nothing since LO will be 3 months, but my brother is coming to town that day with his kids (who we see 1-2 times per year) so I will probably get them something small.

DH bought him the Love Monster book. Dh and I do not celebrate V day so we probably won't do anything special with Lo either.

@grizz: I hope she likes her! And I hope she arrives earlier than the 14th!

Not sure, but something. I remember getting gifts from my parents for V-day til I went to college.

I can't wait until DS is old enough to start enjoying holidays such as V-day!

Not sureeee!
I really wanna get the kids one of these chair backers, and maybe this stamp set for DD, but I'm on a spending freeze!!!
I'll probably get a cupcake or some type of treat for DD. Maybe do a craft.

@Bao: a cute outfit, some hair accessories and a flower from her dad!
