Butter.. I love butter..
I agree on the maple syrup and vanilla (unless I need the frosting to be super super white)..

@pui: With you on the maple syrup thing. I go out to a local breakfast place frequently and always ask the server for the real thing since they only have table syrup at the tables.

Ugh, DH prefers margarine but I love butter. I've sort of given up on it at this point. I went off dairy for a full year when DD was nursing now I'm just used to buying it.

I'm a no splenda girl. Real sugar or honey or agave or whatever. No diet pop, no artificial sweetners.

I'm also a real maple syrup girl! And I definitely use butter. My H buys margarine sometimes but I just like the real stuff. Oh, and I don't drink much soda, but when I do it's going to be a regular coke, not diet

Butter and sugar and cream/half and half. I'm opposed to fake substitutes on things like margarine and sweetener and coffee creamer. I won't eat anything they're made with because I feel like they're dangerous.

It has to be Daddies brown sauce. That means nothing to most of you, does it?!

@Mae: Exactly this. I try to only eat real food.

Def maple syrup, vanilla, xmas trees, butter... I really prefer organic milk, too. But almost more important than any of those is mayo. Has to be Hellman's.

Butter, sugar, Christmas trees*, dryer sheets, trash bags for the kitchen trash, diapers.

*My MIL has an artificial tree because she lives by herself and she says that having a real tree is just too much work. And then she hires a handyman every year to set up and take down her fake tree. Huh?!?!

Definitely agree with the maple syrup! That fake stuff is GROSS!

I agree on butter! I find margarine gross. I finally got my parents to stop buying "I can't believe its not butter" too

Vanilla too... I went to visit a paper mill (yes, I'm a print geek) and learned that imitation vanilla used to be made from byproducts of the paper making process. YUCK.

Cranberry juice - it has to be ocean spray - the others are too sweet or not tart enough or something!

Heinz, Coca Cola, real fruit sauces for sundaes- strawberry syrup doesn't cut it

agree with you on the syrup and vanilla. Also, butter. I won't touch imitation butter. That stuff has trans fat in it.

Brand name cereals, no store brand for me!

Butter, Heinz ketchup, local honey, vanilla (started just making my own because I use so dang much of it)

Whipped cream - nothing out of a can; must be homemade.

Agreed on the maple syrup, butter, creamer, etc. I like real food.

What am I missing with the Heinz ketchup...is this some special ketchup version, or is it the original, with HFCS? I see there is a Simply Heinz version?
