@Mrs. Train: amazing that they always agree on a group costume! who gets to be harry? was there a fight over it?

We're still trying to think of a costume. We normally do a family costume, but I'll be 4.5 months along.

@Mrs. Train: I can't even WAIT to see! I look forward to your costumes every year.
I think we have a Hiccup in the works with the recent addition of Toothless to our family.
I was going to do a raving rabbid but I just don't think he'd be crazy about it...

i found an Olaf costume at walmart that looks like DS will tolerate and he seems happy to be a snowman. I might still look around for other options though.

D keeps telling us he wants to be Bruce the Shark (from Finding Nemo). So I'm planning on eventually making him a shark costume with a grey hoodie. Halloween scares him (he doesn't do well with people in masks), so I doubt we'll go trick-or-treating. He'll just wear it to daycare and then to help us hand out candy.

Little Red Riding Hood, Minnie Mouse or Little Red Riding Minnie... (or something else, we'll see).

Your travel plans sound so fun! I'm jealous of your move.
This year, our 2 year old has opinions! He's adamant that he wants to be Super Why, so that's what he'll be. I'm kind of excited for his first time trick or treating... and then stealing all his candy

We are doing a family costume. I will be the Paper bag princess, LO - dragon and DH will be Prince Ronald.

@Mrs. Train: that sounds fantastic! I can't wait to see those costumes
I'll be working, but DH and DD are going trick or treating as Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz.

@Foodnerd81: one of my twins nick. He told me for Halloween he didn't want to dress as a twin because he already is one. (Originally wanted to be Fred and George weasly)

@Mrs. Train: I actually had the thought, I wonder why the twins aren't going to be Fred and George, and then I thought, probably because they don't want to do every single thing as a twin. That's going to be so cute.

@Mrs. Bee: my husband keeps teasing me and telling me eventually they won't want to do a group thing but I will keep trying. James is Harry. Oddly enough there really wasn't any big fights. They just picked different ones. @.twist.: thank you. I have to get working on mine. Halloween will be here soon!

I've been trying to come up with something. DD will be almost 23 months and I don't think she really gets the concept yet. I'm pretty sure she won't keep anything on her head, so I can't do any animals that need ear headbands or whatever. She's also been having very strong opinions about what she will and won't wear, so I'm not sure I'll actually be able to get ANY costume on her... We won't be going door-to-door, but our neighborhood's business district always has a party in the afternoon/early evening with trick-or-treating at the businesses, a photo tent, games, etc. so I want her to dress up as something, if only to get pics!

a pumpkin from PBK - we will tell people he's a "Jack"-o-lantern (his name is Jack).

I'm still stuck. LO loooooves Doc McStuffins and would make an adorable one - she looks a lot like her. But I am feeling pulled toward doing a more "babyish" costume this year since I can still choose for her (she'll be newly 2). I also have thought about doing a train conductor because she loves trains. Can't decide!

She has said that she would like to be a monkey. So she will be a monkey at least once. I'm hoping I can get her to do Minnie Mouse once so we can do matching costumes.

L is going to be Doc McStuffins, and K is going to be Lambie - now to find these costumes!

DS randomly picked Cookie Monster and is super excited about it even though he rarely watches Sesame Street. He is kind of obsessed with monsters though right now so that may be why.

We're all going as the Tiger family, DD will be Daniel and it's TBD if DD2 will make her appearance in time as baby Margaret.

DD1 wants to be Elsa. Sigh.
I'm going as Sully, and wearing DD2, who will be Boo

He hasn't made a decision. So far it's been: a ghost, buzz light year, batman, the hulk, and captain America.

DS is 1 so he doesn't get to choose yet.
He was a gnome last year, and will be a dinosaur this year (spikes on a hooded sweatshirt)

@Mrs. Train: can't wait for pictures! LOL'd at the comment about not being a twin since he is one every other day

DD will only be a couple weeks old so I think I'll put her in a skeleton or pumpkin sleeper and call it a costume.

N has no concept of Halloween. So he will be happy to be whatever I dream up between now and then. Same with E.
