I have my in-laws buy me a really expensive piece of clothing I wouldn't buy myself. Two years ago I went with a nice zippered hoodie jacket from athleta and this past Christmas I got Lululemon aligns.
I know you said it's an Amazon GC though so perhaps check out some of the faux stuff on amazon. You can likely get a couple pieces for the 100 bucks

I would probably get some gel nail polish and a few other smaller things to enhance my daily life like new leggings, new headphones, etc. I'm definitely the kind of persn to slowly use it up!

Either I go for a nice piece of clothing or jewelry that I wouldn't just buy, like leather boots or a watch or I accumulate smaller things. Right now I am spending a visa gift card slowly I bought an enso ring so that when I travel or do out doorsy stuff I still feel married and a sentimental key chain. I am still working through it and am now trying to decide if buying myself a mini food processor counts as a gift since it would be a replacement to a broken one and thus really more of a need.

Otherwise I would put it towards spendy shoes or purse.
